January 19: I love these bags. Very thick and strong. Made in Italy I searched and searched for a sealer and bags not made in China. I try to never buy from China especially things used for food prep or storage. I have actually washed and reused some of these. I've bought a lot of these so far and only had the vacuum for a few weeks. lol Only ones I will buy worth the money.

Oculus SinisterOculus Sinister: After trying out the bag samples that came with my Magic Vac Maxima2 I was impressed enough to purchase more. These patented bags are unlike any of the brand name or generic I've tried over the years.

Here is what I like about them:

1- They have lot numbers and manufacturing date printed on the sealed edge of every bag. Something I haven't encountered with any other bag I've used. Of course I've not used them all
2- The bags have an array of ridges on one side of the interior of the bags. These are designed to allow the air to evacuate the bags under suction and work well. They appear to be molded or extruded,not embossed, as you can't feel them on the exterior of the bag. They feel different, more flexible, not as "crinkly" as other bags I've tried before.

They are made in Italy and come with a cover sheet that gives important information regarding times the bags can be boiled or used in sous vide. I've included some pictures showing that information and the ridges in the bags, among others I hope will be helpful.
