Miranda Clissold: I've had these for about a year now. They've been washed plenty of times in cold water (and even tumble-dried on low a few times) and I haven't noticed any shrinkage, personally. But since they are apparently 100% cotton, I believe that could certainly be the experience of other people (maybe I just got a weird pair? Who knows)! They still look like new, with no pilling. My issue with them is that they just don't absorb moisture! As one earlier reviewer mentioned, I find that my hands are always still wet after trying to dry them using these. Like... freshly-washed, still-dripping levels of wet. It's honestly bizarre how little they absorb––they're thin and don't have any terrycloth on the other side, so at first I thought that might be the reason, but I have other cotton towels with no terrycloth that dry things effectively. It's kind of annoying––if I have to reach for a different towel to do the job, what's the point? But again, they definitely are cute... and I'll give them credit for staying in like-new condition, anyway.
