Leslie Santos: Likes: It is sugar based and does not plastic beads sometimes found in other exfoliators which is better for the environment, melts into the skin with a moisturizing consistency, great for before shaving or dead skin, is very sheer and light, has a nice fragrance that is not overwhelming
Dislikes: for the dry skin folks this can be a bit abrasive and I wouldn’t recommend it for everyday use, for anyone wanting to put this on their face I don’t recommend that either while it’s nature it has a lot of oils that can clog up pores and again I feel like it’s too abrasive for the face so I’d say it’s only a ‘body’ scrub
Side note: this scrub has a promo on the top for a free next tub of product to which some reviews have been saying is fraudulent however in my case they did actually give me a free tub when I followed the directions

Twinpossible: I’m not sure exactly what I expected, but this is just OK to me! When I use it, it doesn’t stay ‘gritty feeling’ long enough to scrub my whole face to exfoliate properly. I need to reapply more product.

I’ve been looking for new skincare products for a very long time, and I haven’t been thrilled just yet. I feel a little too oily after using this. I’m very oily as is, so maybe this product just isn’t for oily skin.

It doesn’t cause my sensitive skin any redness, inflammation or breakouts, so that’s why I will rate it 3 stars. It just isn’t the right product for me, although In reading the positive reviews.. I was hopeful. I don’t see any glow or any help with my dull complexion, large pores and older looking skin. I need something that controls my oil and doesn’t leave me dried out, but not wet feeling either. A happy medium, you could say. My makeup looked really bad after using this. Very blotchy and wet looking.

Guess I’m just hoping for a little too much. Might be right for others, but just not for my skin.

Anne G: When I read all the perfect reviews, I had to try this. Even though the Himilayan salt scrub has more, I chose this one because someone had said that minor abrasions are sensitive to the salt. The scent might seem a little strong at first--and it's a tiny bit more flowery and less cucumbery than I thought it would be--but it pretty much dissipates once it's washed off. It's not sticky, and it doesn't stay crystalized forever like some others do. All it takes is a nickel-sized amount to exfoliate, moisturize, and firm, and judging by the size of the container, that means it'll last me about six months. I don't think I'd go so far as to say I don't need moisturizer afterwards like some people have written, but my skin is pretty dry, and I live in the desert, too. I love how it leaves a healthy shine (not an oily one) and how my hands feel after I wash my face to the point where I might put one in the spare bathroom for people to use for hand-washing. This is hard to describe, but what you're left with after you're done is a moisture that feels like it's a part of you that should always be there, not a residue or oil. motivated.mami: I usually don't pay a lot for a beauty product as I am a penny pincher and could care less for name brands. However, I really needed a facial scrub since mine I got for about the equivalent price ran out, but I didn't want to go to the mall to buy it. That product lasted me several months, but it was nowhere near the size of this scrub I bought here! I read others' reviews about the size and even saw pictures, but still didn't imagine it to be the size it is. It is about the size of one of those curl creams you buy from Shea Moisture. It is like a circular tub of the product! There is enough to last for months! I have been using mine almost every day and I have yet to make a real dent in it! It is super soft and leaves my skin feeling moisturized, especially when I follow up with a facial cream and toner. The scent is not overpowering, but light and enjoyable. In fact, after you wash it off, you can't smell it on your skin. Great product overall. I would purchase it again.
