A SA S: When it arrived I thought I was shipped the coffee version by mistake but the Brown Sugar is also dark brown unlike the lighter picture online. Rhe smell is light and mild, smels like brown sugar. I've only used it once so far on my legs and liked it. It's super dry before you add water but that's helpful for softening dry or damaged peeling skin. I'm pleasantly optimistic.

bluemountains: I LOVE this Body Scrub! I have a very high standard for the quality of products that I use on my body & this product way exceeded my expectations! The first time I tried this Brown Sugar Scrub I received it at a greatly reduced cost & figured that it was worth trying at that price. Wow! This smells like a high end salon treatment and it really softens my heals and feet! The rough, grainy sugar works the nourishing oils in really nicely. The scent is not sweet smelling at all ~ it’s a calming yet exhilarating a stimulating stringent herbal smell! I love it but feel rested, pampered, and energized after using it on my feet!

[NOTE: If your legs are already super sensitive this may not be the product for you. But I don’t think this would give a rash! My legs do feel nicely tingly after use!]

Tay K.Tay K.: So, ad others have pointed out, the product definitely does not arrive looking as moist ad it does in the pictures. I compared it to the scrub I have from a nationally recognized body product retailer and immediately started adding coconut oil. But, after a out a tablespoon or so, I stopped myself. I questioned if maybe there was a reason it was made that way. I decided to try it out and compare the results of the two. I started scrubbing with the M3, after a workout, and almost immediately noticed a lemongrass scent fill the shower. But it was not heavy and did not linger. I don't mind lemongrass but some people might find that upsetting. The scrub goes on just like any other. As a matter of fact, since it was drier, I think I noticed the crystals/grains more. After drying off, I noticed my skin felt VERY nicely moisturized. It's hard to describe but it was not an oily feeling as some scrubs give, just a pleasent sense that the moisturize was there and working on my skin, so a lotion would not be necessary. Yvonne CarterYvonne Carter: So the product doesn’t look as moisturizing as it does in the advertised photo once you receive it. It’s just more so of a dry scrub. Once applied to a wet surface it seeps into your skin pretty nicely though. So it’s alright I’ll keep it. And the lemon type smell as stated in previous reviews is accurate, but it’s a nice smell.

***UPDATE UPDATE***
I like to keep my scrub on the brim of the sink it’s just a habit and accidentally it fell in while the water was running so water got inside the container I just stirred it in. And believe it or not that accidental water that got inside gave it the moisture it needed. Here’s some before and after pictures from before the package is opened vs what the water did... I know some ppl stated they just added oil, but good old water actually does the trick nice. Also after a while of using I’ve noticed the string isn’t as strong.
