nancy l garver: I like the weight of it, it appears sturdy but not heavy. My dog is not real happy with it and it does seem to choke him quite a bit if he pulls, which I assume is how it teaches him not to pull, I just am not real thrilled to see him coughing and gagging. Maybe he will stop pulling? It will take some short walks to test this further..

Debi Walters: I watch the Caesar millan dog shows whenever. They're on my TV. And he uses something similar, so that's what I was looking for. I found this and I like it. My dog is 80 lb and I needed something to be able to control him on walks. He has gotten used to walking with it and whenever he sees it he's so excited cuz he thinks he's going somewhere. The leather piece that slips to the right size is easy to operate tightening and loosening. And the material itself is thick and sturdy, and good for his size of a dog.

Gulf Breeze Girl: I ended up buying a total of 4 of these. I purchased one for a smaller dog and loved the soft handle grip and how it fit in my hand. I had one that did not have the foam handle and returned it for this one. It's easy to slip on my Husky who thinks it's a game to get her collar and leash on, but now all we have to do is slide the lead over her head and off we go. I also have 3 small dogs and I purchased 3 separate colors so I know who it is if they get tangled. The smallest leashes are a nice and the braiding is a good size for my 11lb furry dogs, other brands I felt the braiding was way to thick for them.
