Michael: These dishes are HEAVY, and seem to be very durable after using for a month. There are no visible knife scratches on them, even though we use them not only for eating, but for cutting boards as well. Be prepared though- they come all together in a huge box that is very heavy, but well packaged. There were no chips or discolourations or scratches. They really do look awesome. And my kids love the dog-dish sized cereal bowls.

KmfKmf: I've had this item for three years and I am so impressed with the quality I wanted to write a review. Most dishes get scratched or marked with silverware and knives, but this set looks brand new even after years of use.
I rarely use the mugs because they are smaller in size, but they are still great quality and have a nice modern look.

Amazon Customer: I purchased two sets of these dishes for wedding gifts for my son and daughter-in-love. We were all so pleased upon opening the box to see the great quality of the stoneware. Each piece has a great feel to it - the weight is balanced. The edges were smooth and the bottoms were not going to scratch your table if moved around on the surface. As my son unboxed both sets, he noticed a couple of very small spots on 2 plates (out of 2 complete sets of dishes) that the glaze had not covered, and the spots were white on matte black dishes. He contacted the company, and they handled the situation with great customer service. They sent new plates out immediately for the two that had spots - and those two arrived in perfect condition. These dishes are really a great quality product that the company stands behind. They look great on the table and could compliment any style of decorating. Highly recommend!

Former Pro Armchair QuarterbackFormer Pro Armchair Quarterback: I'm glad we inspected this wedding gift early. Like so many products these days, this dinnerware set was not packaged for the age of online shipping, much less to survive the current trend of using cheaper and less protective packaging. Each group of dinnerware (plates, mugs, bowls, saucers) came in a box, all inside a larger box. And while the boxes themselves weren't overly thin, there was no cushioning whatsoever. Even a thin metal pan baking set that we recently bought on amazon for a fraction of the price, came with each pan individually wrapped in bubble-wrap. So, how Stone Lain thought they could get away with not providing any padding between such heavy stoneware... I can only assume it was a calculated risk at their expense (and their customers inconvenience), as their site is already well set up to handle replacement requests, and they were very quick to do so when ours arrived with a scratched plate and cracked and leaking mug. It probably would have been a lot worse if amazon hadn't delivered it themselves.

As for the product itself, it seems like something that will last for generations, if they're not dropped on a hard floor. Or at least until my niece gets to...

wir lieben dieses Geschirr und können es auf jedenfall empfehlen.

Das Paket kam schneller an als gedacht und es war auch alles heile als wir es ausgepackt haben.

Die Schüsseln sind ideal für Dessert oder für Suppe.
Die Teller sind super, denn dank dem
Kleinen Rand kann nichts mehr überlaufen.
Kratzer haben wir bis dato keine feststellen können, haben es allerdings auch erst 3 x benutzt.
Weil man immer sagt, dass Steingut mit Besteck lauter ist: dazu können wir sagen, dass
Das Besteck(Vorallem Messer) auf dem Teller schon etwas lauter ist als bei „normalen“ Geschirr, aber wer schweigt schon beim Essen, sodass es einen stört ;) & Und ist es nur aufgefallen, weil wir explizit drauf geachtet hatten und auch Musik etc. Extra ausgemacht haben :D

Alles in allem sind wir schwer begeistert und ich freue mich auf eine große Runde, damit ich alles schön eindecken kann
