RJ Richardson: I haven't been able to use the lashes as intended because the magnetic liner was dried out. I bought this brand because it was the only one that had brown lashes, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars. The lashes are natural looking and was able to wear one set using eyelash glue. I'll have to buy eyeliner separate in black because the brown liner that came with it was dried, and all the reviews for the brown liner say it doesn't work well.

Amanda Wright: I like the lashes themselves: they look great. The color matches my dark blonde perfectly. My eyes are smaller, so I had to trim off a magnet, but I can tell that if I could get good eyeliner, they’d look awesome.

Unfortunately, when I put on the provided eyeliner, it clumps. Then it vaguely says “wait for eyeliner to dry” but I have no idea how long this would be and had to try several times. I got liner all over and it was miserable to try and get off the lashes. SO WORD TO THE WISE: definitely wait 30 minutes.

Nothing clicked into place, though. And when it did, it looked pretty ridiculous with the magnets and this red brown eyeliner underneath.

I mean, it was inexpensive. So there’s that. I have a little regret, but would be willing to work with a different eyeliner and work with these pretty lashes

Dotty Fulcrum: This kit was an experiment. I look better in brown eyeliner and mascara, but only could get black magnetic lashes with black liner. (The double magnetic kind are also black). Thought this would be a good thing for me. Well . . . somewhat. The brown is exactly right for me for both the liner and the eyelashes. I used 2 coats (because umpteen places on youtube say to do that and making sure that it's a bit more dense on the inner and outer corners, too). I waited 15 minutes and then stuck the lashes on.

Just like all the others---of every ilk---they are too long. The problem, though, with magnetic lashes is that I would need to cut off the very end magnet. This leaves a rather long piece of unsupported lash band which I would then have to glue down. Hmm. And then, the affect only lasts about 8 hours. Might be good for going dancing (not me re COVID) where you get there at 9pm and leave about 2am with some time on either side for arrival and departure.

I'll probably still wear these on occasion, but I find that the plain old glue-on lashes work best if I (a) use the dark quick-dry glue and wait 10 seconds or so and (b) put the glue on my lids and then stick the lashes...

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I am blondish and have hair loss from oral chemo and have been eagerly waiting for an inexpensive brown eyelash option. The eyelashes themselves seem fine but the eyeliner, as others have mentioned, is terrible. brands. Lashes don't adhere to it. I have used magnetic eyelashes before (in black, various brands) and have found that it is important to wait like 25 minutes for the eyeliner to dry. I did this with the included brown eyeliner, but unfortunately the lashes would barely adhere here and there. I applied black eyeliner (from a set of black eyelashes I already had) on top of the brown eyeliner and let it dry, and then I had success. Unfortunately, I hate black eyeliner as it looks hard and so fakey. I am 61. I am contemplating parting with big bucks to buy a tube of expensive magnetic brown eyeliner from one of the expensive brands. I'll wear these tonight to an outdoor Christmas party where we will watch boat parade. Hopefully it will be dark enough that I don't look like a pathetic old hooker.

Amazon Customer: The lashes themselves are great as they come in a wide variety. However, the eyeliner is a dud and the lashes do not adhere. I've tried multiple coats of eyeliner, have tried letting the liner dry, have tried pressing tightly for a period of time in hopes that would help adhere the lashes, but nothing met expectations and resulted in the lashes falling off.
