M.T.: This is a basic, traditional fly swatter. It is cheaply made, but that is 100% okay because it is also sold at a very cheap price. They may not last for a long time, but you get 6 for less than $5 so it is totally worth it.
I usually don't get flies in the house (thankfully), but seemed to have a family of them move in over the summer. I bought a retractable swatter, but that broke after a couple uses. I got this set because it was cheap and shipped quickly. Used one of the swatters and managed to kill the fly family (rip) within a couple days.

Patty M.: First of all, I was very happy to even find these fly swatters online. - all the stores by me were sold out. I've had such a problem with drain flies and actually wore out several fly swatters. These are pretty good. The only thing that would make them better is if they had the tiny fringe on the ends like the ones I wore out. That little fringe actually scrapes the dead flies off the wall. Sorry, I know this sounds gross!

Readsalot: I bought these on Amazon because I couldn't find a decent one at the grocery store. The ones at the store were wire and had a plastic piece stuck on the end. After a few weeks the end would come off. I searched Amazon and after trying another product, I found these. They are light weight and flexible. I can slam it down on the flies without fear that the end will break off. Whether the fly lands on a hard surface like a kitchen counter, or a soft surface like a loaf of bread wrapped in a plastic bag, this flyswatter will do the job. I don't recommend it if you are trying to kill something bigger or harder than a fly (like a moth). Because they are light weight and flexible, I don't think they would generate the force needed to kill a large moth or anything with a hard body.
