Susi Q: Arrived in a timely manner but, with a slightly damaged box. Fortunately the ukulele was none worse for the wear. Could have been packaged a bit more securely though. A good amount of extras for the price. While I'm not a fan of a high gloss finish this finish is a bit dull and boring. I feel as though I need to put something on it to protect the surface. That being said it sounds good and plays easy.

Our order was missing part of the bundled items and rather than have me ship it all back they shipped a completely new ukulele and bundle then told us to keep the first ukulele on them! Papa Jim: I bought this to join a ukelele group to learn to play. The group leader is a ukelele mandolin dulcimer luthier. He examined the instrument and was astounded at the high quality of the iinstrument. I am using Aquila red strings. I feel the strings supplied are substandard. I paid a luthier to install an electronic pickup. It would be nice if that was available from Lohanu. I soon replaced the soft carry bag with a hard case. Do not hesitate. If you want a baritone ukelele, this is the one to buy. The body has great tone. The fret bar is adjusted straight and true. The frets are level as they should be. The intonation is accurate. The string height is medium; easy to play. As your experience grows, you may want to lower the string height so it plays easier, but that is a personal choice. Buy it.

Cody: This baritone ukulele is nice. The fit and finish is good. I was surprised to discover the soundboard is X braced, as in a traditional acoustic guitar build. Ukuleles are usually just crossed braced. The string setup at the nut and bridge saddle is good on the one I received, but there was the usual protruding fret ends. Mine arrived with the low DGBE string set preinstalled, and the baritone specific high gCEA string set was included in a package. The ukulele sounds nice strung with DGBE's. The gig bag is lightly padded, and it's made okay. I actually like the included tuner better than a Snark, because the Snark tuners tend to break off where the head secures to the swivel mount. I have two broken Snark tuners. The included strap is just okay.
Update:
I've owned this ukulele for several months now, and I contacted Lohanu twice for warranty issues. Lohanu claims you have an unconditional warranty, but as far as I'm concerned, you're on your own. I received no warranty service at all. Rather than help, Lohanu just wears you down with endless email questions. They have no desire to offer any warranty. Beware.

stumblebum: Accidents and arthritis left me no longer able to play my acoustic guitar. Just too difficult to bar or fret the 5th & 6th strings. I really miss playing, and a since a baritone uke is tuned to the same four higher strings, I decided to give it a try. It has been a joy during the pandemic!

Pros of this bundle: nicely made instrument, great value for the money. Especially when you also get a nice soft case, strap buttons in the bottom and neck, nice strap, good strings, good tuner, and the rest of the bundle.

I was apprehensive that with some many accessories, how could the instrument be worthwhile? But it is. I've loved playing -- almost every day.

Cons: My instrument came with the 4th and 3rd strings in the opposite locations. Since I'm an old guitar player, I knew what was wrong and what to do. I had some email exchanges with the vendor. They were very helpful.

After many months of enjoyment, I decided to give the instrument to my grandson. Reason: I wanted a baritone uke with a deeper tone -- more like a guitar. They're quite a bit more expensive.

But I've been very pleased with this instrument, and recommend...

A_Belle: We bought a Luhanu soprano ukulele for our teenage daughter for Christmas '19. She has enjoyed playing it for a year and asked for a baritone ukulele for Christmas '20. When I was shopping, I decided to stick with a brand that I knew would not disappoint so we purchased our second Lohanu ukulele.

The baritone ukulele is bigger than the soprano ukulele and provides a deeper sound (think guitar). With only 4 strings (just like the soprano ukulele) she can have the sound of playing a guitar without learning new chord fingering. It comes with everything needed to play right out of the box including free online resources, online songbook, protective case, strap, extra strings, picks, digital tuner, battery, etc.

The Lohanu quality is excellent for a beginner instrument. The company sends frequent emails asking about the product to make sure we are satisfied and that everything was in the box and not missing. Both ukuleles we have purchased from this company have been complete, not missing anything.

Philip Shames: I waited for about two weeks before posting a review because it typically takes that long for the string to stretch and settle in. Now that they are settled in, the Lohanu Baritone uke stays in tune and sounds quite sweet.
I currently own a soprano, concert, and tenor ukuleles from other manufacturers and thought it would be nice to add a Baritone to my collection. Not knowing whether I would like playing a uke tuned to DGBE and having to get used to new cord shapes, I didn't want to spend a lot of money to find out. After playing it for the past week and a half, I really enjoy the more mellow tone and find that the Lohanu Baritone plays well and is a great value. Learning the new cord shapes on the baritone has come fairly easily.
I did have an issue with the uke at first, but I got a quick reply from there customer service department and they corrected the problem and made sure I was totally pleased with my purchase.
If you are looking to give a Baritone ukulele a try, you cannot go wrong with this one.

Update.. After a couple of weeks with this uke I replaced the Aquila strings that came with this ukulele with a set of D'Addario Titanium...

Sweat Lodge: Our granddaughter was so happy to receive this Ukelele. Just need some assistance getting it properly tuned as the tuner included doesn't seem to work very well. Will get some assistance from her music teacher. Overall, definitely happy with this purchase.

John Y: Delivery was amazing , only took two days after ordering.
Ukulele was a little less robust than I expected, but after changing the strings to Aquila red series D.G.B.E. Baritone tuning,the sound came to life. To say I was pleased would understate the fact that this instrument sounded like something way more expensive than this price point.
Being just a beginner to playing a ukulele, I was not sure that a more experienced ear might agree with my assessment,but having let a couple of real talented musicians play my ukulele they have agreed that this instrument is amazing. The warmth of the sound and in particular the sustain is really at a high level.
I would have liked to have seen this baritone ukulele with an electric option but the Lohanu company told me that they were not going to build an acoustic electric version of the LU-B. Great pity.Would purchase their instruments again without reservation and would recommend them to anyone who enjoys playing.
I am going to have a lot of fun with mine, oh yeah the strings settled down in less than four days and has held tune since.

Ian G.: Okay. The deal. First, these are entry level Ukulele's. If you're looking for a professional grade instrument at this price point, good luck. They just don't exist. That being said, they are incredible value for the money (more on that later). I had an issue with the first one they sent. I took pics, sent them along to the seller, and they sent a replacement, no questions asked (and I got to keep the first one!!). The replacement had no defect that I can find. The defect on the first one was cosmetic and did not affect sound quality (which was kinda crappy with the included re-entrant GCEA tuning). Baritone Ukulele's do not typically come tuned this way. I bought a set of D'Addario Strings (Low D) and put them on. Honestly, I was beyond disappointed. The uke sounded flat, so it just hung on the wall getting no love. I assumed I got a cheap uke that sounded cheap. I was wrong. Really wrong. I had issues with a set of D'Addario strings previously (with another uke), so I decided to give it another go with a different brand. I bought a set of Aquila Reds (Low D - AQ-89) and OMG, what a freaking difference. It's a whole new instrument. I can't put...
