RaRa: I began using this gaming style mouse with 9 programmable buttons, even though I play no games.
I was using it to help transcribe audio files.
I don't do that anymore, so I repurposed the buttons for web surfing.
I like to sit at an angle to my table, kicking back with my legs up on a hassock, so I use my left hand for this ambidextrous mouse, even though I'm right handed.
It now feels very awkward if I try to use my right hand. LOL.
I use a very compact metal, mechanical keyboard with no number pad, etc.
It is easy to grab it with one hand off the desk, if I'm kicking back.
But with the new mouse configuration I don't need the keyboard a lot of times.

I can Italicize, Enter, Copy, Paste, Delete and I still have a spare button that is currently set to a ?
I also have my scroll wheel set to trigger Ctrl/Shift/S when clicked, which launches my screencap tool.
I can do all that with my mouse now.
I've been using it almost 18 months and still working perfectly.
I have the cord taped with T-Rex tape under the edge of my table, so when the mouse gets knocked off the table, it stops just short of the floor, like a bungee-jumper

Gabriel Alemany: I got this gaming mouse back in Berlin, Germany in 2012. I just bought my second one as a replacement because the previous one was double clicking (probably grime got its way after 11 years of heavy use)
It was such a good choice for me at the time, a well built, ergonomic, stylish, performance mouse.
I use it for everything from gaming to editing software (Premiere, Photoshop, etc).
I am a photographer which means half of my job is spent on the computer and the key features on this mouse are extremely useful.

While mostly a "gaming" feature, the ability to switch the mouse speed/sensitivity on the fly with a button and being able to customize and save different speed settings, come quite handy in photography and post production.
Whenever Im editing photography and need to focus on specific details or need precision for strokes, I can tune the speed of the mouse for better control.
The material and build of the mouse its durable. My first one lasted 11 years and took many accidental falls.

Matt: I've had this mouse since 2019 and it works great and everything, but sometimes when I left click it performs an uncommanded double click, which can be a little annoying when I'm going through the jobs list in ETS2. Other than that it works just fine.

ram: I've been using this mouse since 2015. My first one lasted almost 6 years before it died (cable was only working at specific angles and became unusable.) After it died, I tried some other mice but ended up returning to this one. If you're not an e-sports player and you're on a budget, you can't beat this mouse. It works great and fits nicely in my hand(although I do have smaller hands so if you like bigger mice this might not be the one.)

The only issue I've had is that for some reason Logitech's software doesn't seem to recognize this mouse on my laptop, but it has on other laptops so maybe its just an issue with mine.

Rohit K: Bought the Logitech G300s in mid-2016, it's been 6 years using the same unit - most buttons (6 out of 9) have now started double-clicking, thereby rendering it close to its 'End-Of-Life'. My G300s has been in 'daily low-to-moderate' - mostly for work and some light gaming (no button mashing involved).

In an era of planned obsolescence, there are few devices that stand out. This is one of those rare durable ones (or maybe I'm just plain lucky this piece lasted so long for me!).
Other reviewers have mentioned Pros & Cons better than me so I'll just stick to my experience instead of repeating their points ad nauseum.

-- Middle Button Roller works perfectly fine even today.
-- Mouse Cable felt plasticky and delicate at first, but has held up well for 6 years without any degradation of the insulating material around the wire.
-- Rubber quality on the side is good overall - for 2-3 years of daily use; after that point the grooves start disappearing and become smooth instead of providing friction to your thumb and little finger.
-- The mouse is great for ambidextrous use and ergonomic especially for claw grip holders. Palm grip can get slightly uncomfortable...

- aesthetically designed with good range of LED colors
- good software support which opens up a huge range of customizations (LED colors, upto 3 different switchable profiles, mapping for each button, multiple dpi settings etc)
- special rubber padding which minimizes friction during mouse travel
- good for people using claw grip
- dedicated settings which recommend button mappings suited to a variety of gaming titles (this was really impressive from software support perspective)
- also has analytics support like heat maps etc to aid in understanding our gaming styles

Cons:
- feels heavy in intense games like UT, CS etc and gives a feeling of dragging on sometimes when quick movements (like flick shots) are required
- all the buttons are crowded on top, and in intense gaming u can end up pressing unwanted buttons (weird design for a gaming mouse)
- i do not use claw grip, prefer to use light grip as it helps in quick movements and hence did not like the ergonomics. Also it is suited for small hands and i have big hands (it is half the size of my hand and hence pressing buttons feel cramped)
- rapid double clicking takes a lot of effort...

Kindle Customer: I 've been using Logitech G300s mouse over 3 years now and more so if we count for the previous version which if i am not wrong was G300.

This is in my opinion the best buy for any gamer out their for its price. And trust me i 've looked around nothing comes close to it if you are looking for a gaming mouse which features additional 6 keys around this price range.

I like how i can switch between colors and modes , each mode can have a different set of keybinds , so you may use all the modes for different games or same game which requires heavy usage of keybindings (wow for example)

Games that i 've played: Skyrim , Age of Empires 2HD, Counter Strike-GO , World of Warcraft , Devil May Cry, Call of Duty just to name a few. Worked like a charm in all the games that i 've played , however give this disclaimer , i am not an avid gamer and for the majority of the part i 've spent time playing world of warcraft and skyrim.

World of warcraft is the main reason i bought this mouse and the next para of my review is solely based on my experience with this game.

Shoen Opftis: Pros:
+it looks nice; its appearance suggests it is unaggresive and yet purposeful
+probably great for primary/middle school age
+probably good for the ladies in the office
+quick, accurate and responsive
+it had enough buttons for my use case
+logitech kept it simple with how the mouse works by default. There are 3 arrangements, indicated by led color and swapped by the dedicated button. You don't need a manual to figure it out. The default buttons are browser-forward & browser-back (or dpi-up & dpi-down), pgup & pgdown (or ctrl & alt), and closewindow (or ch-dpi).
+there is some wiki documentation for making it work in linux
Cons:
-not quick to use: read on...
-too small to rest my hand on, too large to move with only fingertips. For me, this mouse is claw-grip or nothing.
-no linux tool that handles the mouse's capability to change button profiles saved in the mouse's memory. If you make a mistake in configuration, you can only reset things by replugging the mouse.
