I make frames for friends often enough to warrant buying one. I cut the grove for the glass, the photo and the backing and you do not need much room for the point to stick in. Once I had a small problem of it blowing out the back of the piece but I changed the angle of the gun and it went right in with no issues. Its a great product. Easy to squeeze and it came with some points, not really enough for more than a few projects but it works great. The only problem I had was that the points are not available anywhere in a big box hardware store or Walmart, I've checked.

Perfect for picture framing - you can use both flexible and stiff points depending on how much you’ll be swapping the content of the frame. Feels like a staple gun, compresses pretty easily.
