Yamamushi: I am having a blast going out and tracking down some of the harder oils from this book, and every night since I've had it I've made a new one to try out. I found the section on the magical correspondences to carrier oils super helpful as well.

Never would I have imagined myself tracking down Ambergris dealers, buying oils from plants that only grow on specific islands, or eagerly waiting for opium fragrance to arrive in the mail. Some people might balk at that, but collecting all of these rare oils has been incredibly fun for me.

If I have any complaint, it's that sometimes it's not really clear what an ingredient is actually referring to. Like "Squill", is that essential oil? Extract? Does it mean Squilla? Am I supposed to just squeeze a Squill plant out? But solving those riddles is all part of the fun.

Starseed: I am in love with this book 😍if I should have to pay more for it, I would. Loads of useful information and plenty of magnificent recipes in it; I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in a magical uses of oils. It is written in an easy to follow way so it would not be complicated lecture for beginners.

Natalie: Okay! When I saw this book I though oaky this sound interesting and could be fun. When I got the book I have to say I was really disppointed, it wasn't what I thought it was going to be at all. It took a couple of reads to understand the content, it's a real witchy witch book, full of blends for Love, Romance, Money ect. Some of the oils essentails oils I have never heard of before, ever! I have however, heard of Wolfs Bane & Vervien from supernatural TV series, I had no idea that they were actually reals Ingredients. If you're are Witch & into Magic then this is the book for you. I took some time after a few reads and understanding more of the content, I actually really like this book now.

Moca: Excellent book. It's the encyclopaedia of oil making. Has suggestions on replacing certain ingredients (which is great) and gives you information on them too, not just recipes

Emily: I am very pleased with this book. I love that it has recipes and not just the oils glossary which i thought i was getting with few recipes. I have all books from Scott Cunningham so having this book as well complete my library on magical oils and herbalism. The author really had a clear idea of what to want the reader to know about oils, based on her own experience with smells, very nicely introduction about that, plus i am really glad she included a small section about measurements, to get an understanding of that. Just to let you know this book is for people who have affinity with nature, practice Wicca, or any tradition of pagan religions. The only thing that i do not like is the quality of the cover and the page they fill a bit cheap and flimsy, but to me the important perk is the content, that gets my thumbs up! Recommended
