RichieRichie: I finally decided to take a friend’s advice and buy myself an exercise ball to use as a chair for my desk. I have been using the ball now as a chair for several months and I have some feedback on this purchase.
A couple of notes; I am 6'4" tall and 215 lbs and I purchased the 55 – 85cm ball as per the recommendation for my height.
PROS:
- I have an adjustable desk, so the ball can fit nicely under it and out of the way.
- I also workout from home, so I double it as an actual exercise ball (what its intended for). Now I have different types of workouts I can also do.
- I have lower back problems (bulging disc) and I have found a bit more relief from using this ball as a chair because I am using my core muscles more.
- I like the fact that I can move around on the chair and even gently bounce up and down. The motion of doing that helps me focus, which is kind of a bonus.
- The price of this product was very reasonable, which was another deciding factor to this purchase.
- It comes with a pump to inflate and a plug for the ball.
CONS:
- I am not a fan of the pump that it comes with because it takes a long time to blow up the ball and it...
