Joshua S.: I like to think of these Spot books as a great way to teach valuable skills to our young children! Our 2yo and 4yo both love these books and frequently ask to read them--throughout the day, at bedtime, you name it. And our 4yo has already started to make references to lessons she's learned from these books. Highly recommend.

TyTy: I’ve had my eye on these for a while, and we recently got “The Invisible Scribble” in a kids meal. We loved that so much, I bought this set the same day. These feel completely different and less like a “story.”
We’ve read to our 4.5 year old every night of his life and have probably 50-75 books in his collection (a variety of levels). He gets bored with most of these several pages in. I have to stop every couple seconds because he keeps asking, “What’s that mean?” constantly. I find myself having to dumb it down a little for him as I read, swapping out synonyms left and right. It’s easier to just describe the pictures and explain the lessons in a way that he can understand.
A Thankful Spot and A Spot of Giving are the only real winners for us so far. The rest are a little too advanced in how they’re written. Again, I feel like I’m reading an instruction manual or something more than an actual story. Not really what I was expecting, and definitely way overpriced (in my opinion).

Amazon Customer: Every time I think these books are so amazing they just can’t get any better, the next set is even better! Diane does an incredible job at breaking down important topics in a manner that young children understand and relate to. I tell my students all the times these are lessons they will work on even as grown ups. My classroom has changed so much this year thanks to the Little Spot books! I could not recommend them more! I can’t wait to continue to use them every year!

Brittany SchoenfeldBrittany Schoenfeld: I have two sets, and have just ordered my 3rd. These are fantastic for putting basic skills into words and actions that kids can understand. I read at least one per day with the two boys. The books really help focus their attention to help us all find our "peacefull spot". They are perfect for us to turn a bad day into a good day or sparking some creativity and fun to the doldrums of summer. The small reminders are worded so well for young children (3y) but not too simple for an older child (7y).
