Levi WangLevi Wang: The brightness is good, the battery needs charged for 24 hours to start use. The wight is light, but the quality is not that good. One of the lamps fell off when I received it. I struggled to snap it back on, and it worked normally after hanging it on the wall. However, one of its buckles couldn’t snap on, so I had to fix it with tape. I was too lazy to return it. I hope it can be used for a longer period.

Stephen A Rowland: I waited too long to install this unit and missed the return deadline. I wired it up and the AC light came on but the LED lights did not turn on in TEST mode or when unplugged after 24 hours of charging.
I decided to open the unit and found that the battery was not connected. I plugged in the battery and now everything works.
My original 1 star is now 3 stars. There were no instructions and no indication that the battery was disconnected. Otherwise the unit seems to function as it should.

Phillip G.: One of the smallest wall mounted emergency lights out there. Good for installations where the commercial/industrial look of larger, more typical emergency light fixtures would look out of place. The fixture gives off plenty of light, the individual heads swivel to a great degree and can accommodate just about every installation scenario. The lights last over two hours continuously, and the unit can be fitted with a larger capacity battery if desired, but in typical use, this isn't necessary.

I knocked off one star because the green pilot light in the test button is ridiculously bright. In some cases, this might be a benefit as a sort of night light or guide light in a darkened room or area, but will be an issue where darkness is desired. Otherwise, this is a fantastic little fixture for those that don't want to have a fixture that would out of place.

Kevin: I have bought several of these over the years to use as emergency lights on my boats. They do work great and they updated a problematic electrical clip in favour of white and black wires with wire connectors to connect the base to the fixture. It's not as mindless as the old method, but pretty close to it. And definitely not as frustrating as it was when the old style clip failed.
