Amy Simpson: I purchased 2 of these for a veggie garden. Pros: easy to assembly even with major distractions, great height for my needs. Cons: extremely wimpy metal structure, a rod bent easily when I went to push it into the garden soil - so don’t man handle it, I’m concerned about how it does during our storms here in Florida - hoping a nor’easter doesn’t swoop away my beautiful garden goodies. All in all I don’t hate it bc it’s my first “affordable” trellis. I’ll upgrade eventually.

Doodle lover: … and the arbor is easy to assemble. However, once completely put together, unless both ends are buried securely to the ground, it isn’t all that sturdy. Perhaps when my grape vines grow bigger and on it, that will give it weight and provide sturdiness. I had to secure with zip ties next to my wooden trellis to ensure it doesn’t fall down. Otherwise, still a good buy overall.

ellidlellidl: This arch has a lovely shape and is a generous size. I recommend it as a surprisingly inexpensive support for vines. I bought 3 of these arches as permanent, outdoor frames to grow flowering vines on. It's easy to put one together but time-consuming. There are a lot of pieces and a lot of screws to attach them with. I put them together with just my hands, then tightened it all up with a screwdriver. We get strong winds and they sway a little. My husband put 12-inch rebar stakes into the ground next to each leg and tied them together with garden wire. This makes a big difference in our hard, stony soil. I had hoped to put the legs over the rebar, but the 1/2 inch rebar was just a little too large to fit inside the 1/2 inch pipes. The distance between the cross bars seems too much for the Carolina Jessamine that's growing on it, so I'm thinking of crisscrossing the open squares with an X of garden wire to add more places for the vine to attach.

Lisa: My first package arrived with a piece that had the holes in the wrong place, but the replacement unit was good. Pretty easy to assemble but if you want to do any variation (as pictured), you need to figure that out on your own (not really hard, but still). This is a VERY simple design - black metal tubing. It is not super sturdy and I realized that I had no way to get it to stand on its own, as the ground is a bit uneven and too hard to press the legs into. I used tent stakes I happened to have on hand - used long twist ties to connect the base to the stakes. For the price, this suits my needs - it frames the "entrance" to a trail I am building through a patch of woods. I added some cute solar lights to it and may try to get a vine to climb it in the future to dress it up a bit.
