The lightups are cute and add an added safety measure during early/late hour riding. The basket is quite sturdy and holds quite a bit for a smaller basket. Arh: This is such a cute basket. I bought it to accessorize my daughter's bike at Christmas. It was a cheap way to jazz it up. It lights up, although I'm sure it won't last long and I don't see any practical way to replace the batteries. Upon installing, I got my husband to add zip ties to better hold it in place. Nonetheless, I think it's a good value for an adorable basket.

Kazza: I quite like this basket. Looks cute, my 3 year old loves it. Fits her water bottle and a snack and a variety of treasures she finds along the way. The lights are motion activated, however upon removing the battery tabs, one of the flower lights just kept on blinking and burned itself out within 24 hours. That was a bit disappointing. The other two seem to be working properly.

T. Copeland: My five-year-old daughter loves her bicycle basket. Her bike is mostly hot pink with purple accents, and the basket went very well with the color scheme. In fact, with the many colors on the basket (red, light blue, yellow, pink, purple, and white), it is very likely that it will match your daughter's bike as well. If you have an older daughter with a bigger bike, you may find this basket a little small. But for us, it fits great! After six months, the LED lights still flash. Although they are motion activated, it does take a considerable amount of motion for them to start and keep going. They will flash for about three seconds before they need some more "motion" to turn on again. When she rides on a smooth surface, the lights do not flash reliably. If she was riding on more bumpy terrain, I'm sure they would flash regularly. Perhaps they should be labeled as "bounce activated" rather than "motion activated." The plastic basket does feel a little thin, but it functions just fine. We have not had any problems with it staying on the bike. It installs easily in less than two minutes; you simply wrap and snap the straps around the handle-bar. Despite...
