YJ: Glue sticks smell bad when it melted to use. I woder it is safe for health. I only am able to use 100w. It doesn’t melt glue sticks with 60w. The gun is good and easy to ise. I like long nozzle.

Amazon Customer: I saw many reviews on leaking tips and I came upon this one as I also wanted a more precise tip. It works great, no leaky tip. It’s a pretty big size so be prepared for that. The glue sticks are gigantic! So I will have to order more unfortunately as I can’t imagine my small town has them in stock.

Rebecca Anne: I was going to purchase another glue gun w/other tips but only need a slim, long tip (no fancy ones) to glue in smaller hard to get to places. This glue gun was worth the money, you don't need any other tips, it's great for intricate crafting. Leary at first, glad I bought it.

Georgia: I think that my search for the best hot glue gun might be over! I was getting frustrated while working on some crafts. I was having to use two glue guns - one which really put down a quick line of glue and another which had a nice,long point for precision glue placement. I thought that there had to be a glue gun which gave me both qualities and I found it. I used this glue gun today for 8 hours and never had one problem with it.
It heated the glue easily but did not drip out into a puddle
It has a nice, long point that lets me place the glue where I want it
The trigger allows me to control the amount of glue, so I can get a thin line or a large glob, equally quickly
The dual temperature control keeps my fingers from getting too burned
The glue gun grabs onto the glue stick and pushes it in every time. If you've ever had a glue gun which does not grab the glue stick and you have to push it in from the back, you'll know why this quality is important
The only thing that could be better is the stand. It is the common folding metal stand which got in the way a few times, but not enough for me to leave a less than glowing review.

Pros:

More positive and less negative reviews than other guns
Cons:
No instructions
No case. Just an undersized cardboard box.
I've only used this gun for one project (20 glue points) but it was a great experience. I'm giving it 5 stars mainly because it has a long fine tip which is hard to find at this price plus the fact it works well. I can't speak to its longevity but for $15 my expectations are low.
Size:
Regarding the pictures in the ad: The size of the gun looks accurate in the picture of the man holding it. However, the size of the gun in the picture where the woman is holding looks like a doctored image or some type of mega-sized glue gun. Maybe they used a wide angle lens to take the shot. Anyway, the gun is actually 8" long x 6.5" high.
Suggestions:
Store the gun in a bigger box so you don't compromise the cord. The original box is too small.
Regarding the 60W/100W heat switch. Avoid...
