Beau: I use these eggs as part of a humane Muscovy duck population control method at my apartment complex. We go to the nests with newly laid eggs and replace them with these. The ducks don't know the difference and will sit on these eggs until we remove them a month or so later. (It prevents the ducks from abandoning the nest & finding a better hiding spot for the next batch of eggs). I was afraid that since these eggs are light and plastic the ducks would reject them. I'm happy to say these do just fine and are a fraction of the cost of the ceramic eggs for the same purpose. I couldn't be happier. We have only been using these for a couple of months so I cannot comment on the durability of the plastic eggs yet but, I will update in about 6 months to comment on that.

D: 🐔These taught our new chickens where to lay & broke my naughty egg pecker of her nasty habit*. They really are so realistic and identical to the eggs that our chickens lay that our kids have to check every egg just to make sure which ones are real before bringing the real ones into the house. We only have 9 chickens so this was a surplus of fake eggs to teach them with but they're totally cute & super realistic so I'm giving some away to a friend with young kids that have a mini-play kitchen, donating some to the school play, & giving the others to an aunt who has farm decor in an area of her home. These really were a cute purchase & totally worth it.
NOTE that they will dent and collapse if stepped on. They go in the garbage after being squished as they do not recover or pop back out.
