Liberty Garden Products 712 Navigator Multi-Directional Single-Arm Garden Hose Reel

texasbeth: Never thought I'd say a love a garden hose reel, but here I am, I love this garden hose reel!
It is super sturdy, winds up the hose so easily just by aligning the reel to the hose direction.
Took very little time to attach the reel to our brick wall.
The only con, the handle does get hot during the summer heat/sun

La Mejor: Great product! I waited for it to go on sale and purchased two. Easy to assemble, install, and use. Bought a 12’ 4x4 pressure treated lumber, cut in half, then painted and sealed 2’ of each pole. Installed on a 6’ 4x4 with 2’ in ground in a 2.5’ hole. Poured 6” of rocks in each hole bottom then filled in hole around post with rocks. Tamped down rocks every few inches until rocks surrounding post were 3” above grade. My 5/8” 100’ hose fits on reel perfectly. I did need to slightly adjust metal on hose reel around the male hose adapter. Im using wd-40 to lube moving parts and etc., for now. I may change to marine grease if needed. This elevated hose reel is saving my back!

MWR: OK, I have had this installed for a few weeks now and can finally review this product. It is easy to assemble, very sturdy, and attractive. At first I thought it was leaking however, as others have written, you cannot use a hose with one of those long end protectors; it causes the hose to stick straight out and then bend over at a an angle that causes a leak. Once I switched hoses, the leak stopped and all was well. I can also unequivocally say that it does indeed hold 125 feet of hose. I have a 75 foot and a 50 footer on it; yes, it is full and yes you must hand coil the hoses neatly so that it all fits but it does indeed hold it all.

All in all, this is a great product. It would be perfect if it had an automatic winder but that would make it much bulkier and very expensive.

Only issues I found are follows.
1. It say hold up to 125 feet week I bought 100 foot hose and it i would have been 125 it would not have fit.
2. After reeling up hose there no way to lock wheel in place from rolling backwards.
Usually when i roll up t
It rolls back a bit making the hose hang.
Other these these two things it’s awesome.
If they just add a lock mechanism from stopping it from rolling back once it’s all rolled up.
And they just correct the write up.
This is and will even be a better hose reel.
I recommend it and think it if buying another one for back yard.

Juan Paul: I hate hose reels. I know most of us do. I love this one, but I must say that we use it with a very lightweight fabric covered garden hose. With a big heavy hose, it would probably tear itself apart. But maybe not. I've got it mounted to a 4x4 post with 100' of hose. This gets a lot of hosing access around the yard. But you'll need a steady base. If you're going to mount it to a wall, make sure it is extremely well anchored. Otherwise it works like a charm. Looks good, too.

RCT: I got sick of plastic hose reels in Australia. This will last a lifetime I bought one to try had it for a couple of years no sign of rust nothing it's in perfect condition. So I bought another and love them.
