Melissa McCooMelissa McCoo: Very disappointed in this set. It is not matte finish, and multiple items within the set have began to rust after only 2 months of usage. Dont purchase unless you're prepared to replace them within less than 6 months.

Shelley Harper: I do like the set but unfortunately these are not a matte black finish they have a finish more like a brushed nickel finish but just darker and almost black and not exactly what I wanted at all so I was disappointed as they were bought for a gift! If they were a true matte black finish I would be the happiest customer ever and buy more, they're really nice the weight is great but not the finish I wanted at all, so I'm very disappointed in that! I had already gift wrap them and mailed them so there's no chance of returning them and getting what I paid for as by the time that they get mailed back to me it will be past the time frame for returning them so I kind of got screwed on this pooch!

Amazon Customer: Over all I like these. They are comfortable to hold and use. The difference sized forks and spoons are super useful and they look wonderful. My only note is a couple of them stained when I put them into the dish water with oil residue on them. I just rinse oil based residue off beforehand now. Will order there again.
