Leigh W.: I’ve tried many, many different humidifiers and each one has had some good features along with at least one show-stopper. Expensive replacement filters, noisy operation, less convenient refill options, too little humidification. LEVOIT has built the solution that works best for me. The right size for my 15’ x 15’ bedroom, Wi-Fi enabled, compatible in a family of home products.

That said, there are still a few little issues that make this unit less than perfect. It takes expensive distilled water as a way to avoid expensive filters. More problematic is the seeming lack of humidity control. Although you can set the intended level, it seems to be hit or mis(t) (!) as to how that setting works or what the actual humidity level is, at any given point. However, the price point is great.

morgan: Great humidifier. Just purchased my second one to keep in my cat’s nighttime bedroom (spoiled kitty!). The only criticism I have is that the humidity displayed runs about 4-5% lower than the actual humidity in the room so I recommend having a small, separate humidity meter to verify. Once you figure out how far off the machine is from reality, you can work backwards to set the auto feature to maintain what you want. I’ve seen a lot of complaints about the app malfunctioning, but I’ve never experienced that myself, and I’ve got four different devices from Levoit that I manage through the app (their air purifiers are awesome too!). Never had an issue unless my internet is on the fritz. I only wish they sold space heaters and dehumidifiers, then I could micro-manage my home air quality perfectly in the winter even when I’m at work.

Meagan ClaireMeagan Claire: I like the Levoit cool mist humidifiers and love how well they work with the app. I have two smaller units in my kid’s rooms and I can adjust them without having to go in at night. They work well and are reliable. I needed a bigger unit for my own bedroom and decided to buy “Like New” direct from Amazon because it was the price of the smaller units. It arrived in the original box, but with no instructions. The unit was clearly not Like New - it had water spots all over it. I cleaned them and the cotton balls came off with brown tinge. The machine is easy enough to thoroughly clean. However, it came with a filter that is dirtier than the filters from my smaller machines that I’ve been using for 2 years. That was shocking, but I guess makes me feel good about how clean my house is? I use distilled water with the machines as well. I honestly didn’t even know the filters should be replaced, but as soon as I saw this Like New (gross) filter, I ordered new ones. All in all, happy with Levoit humidifiers, but unhappy with Amazon’s quality control. I hope this machine isn’t damaged.

HexaSky: J'ai acheté ce produit notamment pour fournir un meilleur taux d'humidité à mes plantes d'intérieur. Pour le moment, rien à redire, il fonctionne parfaitement. La fonction 'Auto' lui permet de se déclencher dès que le niveau d'humidité passe sous un certain seuil et de s'arrêter de la même manière lorsque celui-ci atteint le niveau fixé. Il est aussi possible d'utiliser l'appareil en mode 'Manuel' en le déclenchant soit même et choisissant un niveau de brumisation. Le remplissage se fait très simplement par le haut et le contrôle via l'application VeSync est un petit plus pratique.

Mike J: Since several years I have had some coughing problems in winter which was due to a very low humidity. Last year I bought a small humidifier/essential oils dispenser but it was not enough. After a long search for a "real" humidifier, I decided to buy Levoit 300S.
This device is very easy to operate and gives me a comfortable level of humidity so I am almost completely cough free, about 99% of the time.

Setup is very easy and the free application for Android and iPhone is very helpful and allows completely controlling 300S via wifi, from switching on/off the device or just its display, checking humidity at any moment, night light, setting target humidity, auto or manual mode etc. The app also allows setting the on/off schedule that is completely customizable, although the automatic mode of humidifier already controls when and how long 300S will generate the mist.
300S is very quiet humidifier and has a very big tank, enough for 60 hours of continuing work, according to specifications. I cannot confirm this as I rinse it every day and fill about a quarter of the tank which is more than enough for 24 h.

Bianca Raschke: Ich habe den Luftbefeuchter für meine Katze gekauft. Diese bekommt im Winter mit zunehmendem Alter Probleme mit der trockenen Luft und bekommt dann Schnupfen und erkältet sich schneller.

Haupt Aufenthaltsort ist im Wohnzimmer. Dies hat bei uns 65m2, direkt angrenzend die Küche mit immer offener Tür nochmal ca. 15m2.

Eigentlich ist der Luftbefeuchter zu klein dafür. Einen so großen zu trockenen Raum bekommt man so nur schwer in der Feuchtigkeit angehoben, es dauert sehr lange. Ich habe einfach einmal nur leicht geschleuderte Wäsche im Wohnzimmer getrocknet. In Kombination mit dem Befeuchter bekam ich die Luftfeuchtigkeit innerhalb eines halben Tages in 1,5 Meter Höhe auf 45-50% (bei 19-20 Grad Raumtemperatur).

Die ersten zwei Tage lief der Befeuchter eigentlich bei uns fast durchgehend auf höchster Stufe. Bis Wände, Möbel und Co. Die Feuchtigkeit aufgenommen haben, dauert es natürlich. Mittlerweile ist er auch durchaus mal stundenweise aus und wir halten die Luftfeuchte. Auch das morgendliche Lüften klappt, ohne dass die Luftfeuchte extrem abnimmt.
