CC: Excellent for cutting wood and fibreglass. Used to cut holes in my boat to mount fishing rod holders and cut plywood. Nice clean holes even in the fibreglass. This hole cutting but will last for years.

Amazon Customer: Used this drill bit on a 1 1/2” butcher block desk top. Had to pull it out of the wood a few times to clear the sawdust from the hole. The teeth did minimal damage to the surface of the wood. Light sanding took care of that.

BELIEVER: REALLY loved this Drill hole saw. The teeth grabbed on and made short work of the job. Went thru like butter without stressing the drill or getting hot. I went thru a counter top so fast and it did a clean, quick job. I am planning on going back and getting more from this company.

Doug Cameron: I was installing an under the sink water filtration system and need to drill a 1 3/8 inch hole through the stainless steel sink for the faucet. I was using a hand held variable speed drill and it took some effort but I ended out with a nice clean hole. The most important thing is to make sure you use lots of lubrication and cooling. I just used WD40 which probably wasn't the absolute best solution but it worked. If you don't use lots of lubrication/cooling, the hole saw is going to bind and stop. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I knew from the moment that I put this in my drill it was going to be a special, life changing moment. I marked my location for the hole, grabbed my drill, and placed the guiding drill bit on the mark. The moment it touched the wood, I heard angels singing. Axel N.: Good product, but try not to use on steel or metal products. The hole saw becomes bent and cuts off center.

azamazonshopper: I bought this solely for drilling a whole for a sprayer on my stainless steel kitchen sink. It is the perfect size for that. I used a variable speed drill (on a very low setting) and a little 3-in1 oil to lubricate. I punched a dent into the center of the hole to prevent slipping of the drill bit center. I put lots of pressure straight down where I wanted the hole. In less than two minutes I was through the sink...super awesome. I then filed the new whole to remove very sharp edges. I then installed my sprayer.It would have costed more to get a professional to just show up than to buy this hole saw. If you don't have a variable speed drill, it may be more challenging. In that case, borrow or buy one from here or Harbor Freight. It will probably still be cheaper to buy the drill and bit than to hire a professional.
