Lenox 893076 Portola 24-Piece Stainless Steel Flatware Set for Everyday Dining and Entertaining

BeachReadr1: Product descriptions for service for 4 indicated two types of knives are included - table knives and steak knives. Only received steak knives. Also purchased same pattern in service for 12, while picture shows both types of knives, set only contained table knives. Wasn’t worth the hassle to return, replace etc. So now have had to order table knives to complete service for 4 and order 12 steak knives to complete the 64 piece service for 12. Yikes.
Plus disappointed in quality but only because price was reasonable and I have out of town guests coming I decided not to fret.

Ron A. Romero: I paid over $200.00 because I thought these were high quality tableware. A knife started rusting after the tip bent. then a fork. don't waste your money on these incredibly overpriced set.

Monique Hardy: This Lenox flatware set is truly beautiful, good solid feel in the hands, shiny and classy. I am more than pleased with this purchase, and I love that the set has pointed steak knives (we use them for all meats) as well as rounded knives. They clean well in the dishwasher if you rinse them before putting them in. Otherwise you may get a couple spots that need to be polished with a drying cloth after the dishwasher. Small task to do when I love using these every day.

GLB: Good quality flatware. Must be a good investment too. The price has just about doubled in a year from the first time I bought it.

Sandor Clegane: I can honestly say I've never handled flatware so elegant before. I love the weight, the look, the feel of it. This set makes such a big statement when company sees them for special occasions. They would also make a terrific gift for weddings, or a housewarming.

One of the things that I was genuinely concerned with was possible rusting. Because, to be honest, more than a few people were saying that they had rust issues with the flatware over time. We've gone through a few washings so far with no problems. Which means either one of two things. Lenox figured out what was wrong, and fixed the issue in production. I know from working with different metals that not all stainless steels are created equal, certain blends are still susceptible to rust. The other possibility is that maybe they will rust over time. The only thing I can say with certainty is that if I do run into any issues with this set, I'll be sure to update my review. For the time being, I'm really happy with this set.

10/22/21 Update: Silverware is still fine. May be worth mentioning that we only hand-wash them. So they aren't exposed to harder chemicals used in dishwashing machines.
