Robert O. Cox: Had to make two cuts through a 5/8 grade 8 bolt to get the lower shock mount off a lower A-frame. Bolt had rusted to the sleeve inside the bushing. Cutting the bolt to save the shock mount was easy.

The rest was a bummer, still I am 67 and fixing my Jeep can't gripe can I?

Dennis Eaton: Needed to cut 1/2 thick hardened steel rod and I was surprised how easy it was to cut. I was using my 18 v Makita grinder as it is not as powerful as my 110 volt and it only took 30 seconds or less per cut.

Glenn Matteson: I really like it saw blade first it does not create dust like a fiber disk blade. It cuts very well and fast. When you first started you do need to hold on to it because it has a tendency to jump. But once you get the cut started it works great. It was a little outbalance but I don't know if it's the blade or my right angle grinder. The price was cheaper than my local home improvement store. I ordered two and will order least one more to have around. Don't know how long they'll last but I could not tell that it wore very much with the cut that I did make. Follow up really disappointed in this blade didn't even make a hundred cuts and it wore out. I'm glad I did not buy another one. Their promise of a thousand cuts is absurd. Do not recommend this blade.

Spencer J: Bought this to try better disks for my angle grinder. But these come with trade-offs; the kickback can be way worse.

Unlike an abrasive disk, where the material can flex (shattering at worse case) these steel disks don't flex, so if you catch, these kickback [hard] instead.

Generally, this is the last blade I use for a plunge cut, although with the kerf being smaller than an abrasive (generally), it is nice to have.

In hindsight, I would have bought this for my 14" chop saw, as the cuts generally complete with less heat to the material, (the blade doesn't drift) increasing the size of material a 15A 14" chop saw can work through. Would have given me more time before I had to buy a bandsaw.
