Got shipped to France. The package arrived in mint condition, although the box inside the package was a little bit damaged, it did not affect the laptop at all. The box was wrapped into the factory plastic.
First off about the laptop, the graphic card gets a 10% on benchmarks, to compare it by a gtx1080, it is 5,000% less powerful, but it does run games like minecraft at 30-60fps, which is cool.
Second, the shipped OS, I didn't use it (Windows 10 Home). There is so much unwanted software, I had to reinstall a Windows 10 Pro with an UEFI bootable usb key. All the drivers are available on the lenovo website, also had to download Intel Turbo boost 2.6 software.
Third point, it seems that the battery has hard times keeping up if you do not try to consume as less energy as possible, it does the 6 hours as indicated.
Aside from these points, everything is awesome. No problems since I'm using it. Auto rotation works well, backlit keyboard is awesome, folding works perfectly the touchscreen works like a tablet, the screen quality is awesome, starts in less than 4 seconds, does tasks easily with turbo boost active, what can I add up ?

This laptop is pretty good for the price. I use it mainly for school purposes as well as some light work in other applications such as Photoshop. For my day to day tasks this laptop suits me and the battery life on it does not really effect my daily tasks. It, like many other electronic devices, has a battery that does not last long enough to use throughout the day in my opinion. The build is solid, I really like the paint job on it.
This laptop has some flaws that I would want prospective buyers to know before getting into buying this product. It could be that just my one has this flaw and others do not but here they are. The screen is pretty flimsy and does not stay put in the way it is angled. If someone angles the laptop less than 90 degrees and moves around with it, you can feel it sway back and forth. If the laptop is angled less than 30 degrees, there is a good chance that it will close by itself because of the weight of the screen. Another flaw is that the mouse pad looses its functionality at times, I find it happen more while programming in Visual Studio. I have to close the whole laptop and log in again for it to work, seems like a application...

I was gonna buy a Surface Laptop 2 but those start at $999 and that only gets you 128GB and a 13.5" screen. The one I configured with the extended warranty was about $1400 with a student discount. I got the Lenovo 730 for under $800 with a SquareTrade warranty. I think the price on Amazon when I bought it was under $700 and Best Buy has it for $680... but I don't purchase anything from Best Buy ever since they banned me from returning items.
Regardless, shipping was quick, and the product was new in the box which I was a bit worried about since I saw some reviews saying they received returned, opened laptops. But everything was in pristine condition and I was actually quite surprised at the quality of the 730. It's a 15.6" 2-in-1 laptop with comparable internal specs to the Surface Laptop 2 at a 33% discount. The screen is pretty good but doesn't get amazingly bright. The speakers are surprisingly not bad but I'm not much of an audiophile. The battery life is quite underwhelming. Maybe 3-4hrs doing normal tasks at close to max brightness. It didn't come with a stylus, though I was under the impression it did when I purchased it but I don't really mind...
