Jason Robichaud:
TLDR: I don't think you're going to find a better bang for your buck on a laptop right now.
Performance:
The 3500u offers pretty good performance without too much thermal throttling: the cpu trades blows with my desktop computer (FX-8320) at less than a tenth the power draw. Graphics is useable - the vega 8 gets the job done in graphic design tasks just fine and holds up for light gaming.
Comes with a 256gb *NVME* ssd, the oem version of the 960 evo if I'm not mistaken. It's not too of the line anymore, but it's still fast. Not big enough for what I need, but it's a decent size, and it's upgradeable.
The ram is probably the biggest drawback for this machine. It comes with 8gb, two of which is dedicated for the gpu, leaving only 6gb for system. The other drawback is that it's arranged as 4gb soldered, and a 4gb sodimm. You can upgrade the one stick, but once you go over that 6gb of ram, you're going to drop down to single channel (though that's still a fair bit faster than dropping to a swap file, even on an nvme ssd). It's also 2400 cl17, which isn't as fast as it could be, but not the absolute worst. I'll update in the future with how it...

This 2-in-1 combines a great feature set at just the right price.
I've been an Intel guy for years, and usually prefer i7 cpus. I have one in my gaming rig, and one in my old laptop and had been planning to get a 2-in-1 with an i7 cpu as well.
Then I saw this laptop. It was the exception to the rule because the price and features.
There's alot of bang for your buck here and when I finally decided to go back to school (after 23 years), I went ahead and bought it.
THE OUTSIDE: Lenovo always makes classy laptops and this one is no different. No cheap, flashy visual aesthetics or shiny fake gold plating here. Just the basics and I like that. I don't really want a laptop that draws too much attention.
The display is gorgeous, and plenty bright, even outdoors on a sunny day. Usually indoors, I'm setting the brightness down to lowest setting. The touchscreen aspect of it works perfectly, with fingers, or the pen.
The fingerprint sensor works great as well.
I use a mechanical keyboard on my gaming rig, and while this keyboard is not mechanical, nor would I expect it to be, it's fantastic. It's been easy to adapt to and I can still...

Disclaimer: this is my first day using it, so I will try to update this review if anything changes over time.
Performance: This computer is fast. I honestly don't think you would notice any speed increase in a $1000 laptop when doing normal tasks. It has 4 cores/8 threads that all work very well. Ryzen is no slouch when it comes to performance. I have yet to test it with many games, but it runs Borderlands 2 on high settings without dropping below 30 FPS and usually staying 40-60 FPS. The 8 GB of RAM are reduced to 6 GB, as two are used by the graphics processing, but overall it seems plenty for most work, especially when you consider the NVMe SSD drive--this Samsung-made drive is beautiful and makes everything boot and install quickly and smoothly. Altogether, this is a great build for such a price.
Screen: The display is nice. It isn't perfect though. The color and brightness are fine, and the viewing angles are great. My one complaint is that there is a degree of motion blur. It isn't terrible, and you can still enjoy watching videos, but it is somewhat noticeable. Also, the screen responds easily to the pressure when adjusting the angle, but it...

Luis: Gran laptop! Bien construida, el lector de huellas funciona bastante rápido, la pantalla full HD se ve súper bien. Inicia muy rápido, corre juegos recientes de manera decente.

Ray: This was one of the best laptops I every had. I had gaming laptops, work laptops, laptops that you can keep on your lap, and even laptops that were as powerful as a desktop Workstation not mine :( . As a Uni student I needed something to take notes on and powerful enough to at least use AutoCAD and this was it. The pen works amazing no problems and as a lefty I had no ghost touch (even with windows inks setting on right handed, it's weird) Anyways people have been saying the battery life is terrible. I never had that problem. With 12-14hrs of class on maximum battery saver meaning I had every single setting that was possible to save battery life was on and since I can't even stand bright screens as my eyes will water (what can I say, I'm made like that) and by the end of the night I'm at 27% so I'm pretty happy.
Now for what everyone does in Reviews pros and cons
PROS
If you take the time to activate any battery saver setting this laptop with last (battery indicator says expected 10 hours) and I disabled a lot of stuff.
Touchscreen with pen features works amazing
Lenovo makes The best keyboard enough said.
Pretty light weight but I'm used...
