I bought the Razorcrest and N-1 Starfighter for my 8-year-old son for the holidays. The Razorcrest wasn't the easiest build but we got through it in about 2-3 hours. My one gripe with a lot of lego star wars sets is playability and how easily parts fall off. If any of you have ever built the lego ATAT (set 75288) or the X-Wings then you'll know what I'm talking about. The Razorcrest however has been fairly solid. Lego reinforced the two turbines so you can hold on to them solid without them sliding out. That way my son can hold on to them as he pretends to fly it around. That said, it has an escape pod on the top that easily drops out when held upside down. Overall though a good build, good lego characters, good details, and is very playable.

I absolutely loved the Star Wars Mandolorian show and being a huge fan of LEGO I heard a lot of good things about this set, and they are all true! It's a very easy set to assemble and super great present (especially with the holidays right around the corner). This set definitely is a little bit expensive, but I think it's well worth it given the minifigures you are receiving which certainly add to the overall value of this set. It's a fantastic display and I think given the popularity of the mandolorian show this is a top Star Wars set!
If you are undecided on which sets to purchase from the LEGO Star Wars theme, I would highly recommend purchasing this one! It also comes very nicely packaged and secured, so I definitely think it's best to purchase it on amazon.

First of all be warned, for some reason Amazon slaps a sticker on the actual box and ships it out as is. It may arrive damaged or open or scuffed. Not a good idea Amazon...Hear me NOT A GOOD IDEA!
As for the set it self, I haven't had so much fun since I was a kid! This is a fantastic set to get! Granted the price is high like with all Lego sets but we are paying for license fees from StarWars. Yes those costs go to the consumer you can look it up.
This set took me 3 days to build due to other life events getting in the way. The instructions had been easy to follow and all the parts had been there. My only regret is that it's built and done. Now I have to buy a new set because I'm hooked. Thanks Lego! .
The other good issue about this set is that it is about as close as you can get to having a ship that looks like the "Serenity"(Firefly). Which is part reason why I bought it.
Good purchase 9/10!

I've got to be honest, when my fiancee and I saw the reveal for this set back in February we knew immediately that we'd be picking it up if only to have "the child" minifig. Of course, the set is so much more than just that little bundle of midi-chlorians. In fact, I'd say it's not even my favorite of the included minifigs. Before that though, I'd like to start with one of the most important design aspect of Legos: the box.
I am so incredibly sorry to those who have said in their reviews that this set was not packaged in a separate box and defaced with a big ol' shipping sticker. I felt a little apprehension as I walked to our Amazon Hub that we would meet the same sorry fate. To my surprise, the opposite was true. The lego box itself was packaged in not one, but two different boxes of increasing size. More than just providing the set with enough protection while shipping, this packaging over-correct ensured that we received a pristine box for collecting purposes. The design of the box itself is beautiful, in typical Lego Company fashion, and as gamers we were both very excited to see a code that would give us access to the Razor Crest in the upcoming Lego...

I highly reccoment doing this build with the kids, you can keep it on display - but it is very playfriendly.
