I loved the way the story is told. The haunting grief of being left, but understanding why and the race to get themselves and those in their orbit "right with Jesus" as my very devout Catholic aunty would say. ? I have read this series twice and it never ceases to enthralled me.

Okay,so, I picked up Hal Linsey's "The late great planet earth" at age 11 (I'm 48) and was hooked on studying about end times. Later on , I picked up Revelation : Unveiled by Tim LaHaye. Now I loved this book, but when I tried getting into the Left Behind series , I often cringed. Mr.T was in the movie Judgement, yet couldn't even strike anyone cause it was a Christian movie. The Anti Christ in the movie seemed like a senile old man that was anything but Anti Christian.
I once went into a gaming store and saw they even had a pc game of this where you could play as the Anti Christ. How dumb is that when his future is already written? I thought, rolling my eyes.
Well, jump to recently. my revelation : Unveiled books (I'd bought it twice) were out of shape, so I decided to get it in Kindle form. while I was at it , I decided to check out the Left Behind Series as well. All 12 books for32.99$??? Hey why not?
I had a funny moment in 2004 or so. I am a factory worker on a budget, so I never got the whole series (each back in 2004 or so was about 16$ paperback). I decided to get "Desecration: Anti-Christ takes throne." Now in getting this , I was not familiar...

I devoured the books and I enjoyed reading each one of them. As far as I can tell, the series strictly adheres to biblical teaching, obviously with some fictional characters and some creative ideas from the authors. I would definitely recommend the series to Christians and also to non-Christians who are not strongly opposed to Christianity.
