Katie: We bought this as a temporary solution before having an electrician wire a home charger. It’s worked great - we get 3.5Kw charging speeds and that easily charges up our car up enough overnight. Haven’t had a single problem in about a year. We are in no rush to have an electrician come out as a result.

Lesa Sabastian: I bought it for my Chevy Volt and now I'm using it for my Inonic 5. Works perfectly and the cord length it just right. It's been in the driveway exposed to rain and sun and no issues at all! It works every time.

JB: I have a Ford Lightning Pro. With this 16 amp Lectron charger I get about 8 miles range per hour. I’ve used it about four months and am pleased with it. I’m usually charged to 80% by the next morning and am ready to go.

I have no experience with other electric vehicles but assume lighter vehicles might get more range per hour. The Ford Lightning is big and heavy. And rather nice for a work truck.

It also helps that my usual destination is only a little over 50 miles away and has a 50 amp outlet. Using the Ford charger that came with the truck, I’m able to recharge back to 80% in less than 4 hours. I get about 15 miles charge per hour there.

This is a rewritten this review because my first attempt was overly complicated, and I definitely don’t want to try to offer advice about electricity. I’m happy with the Lectron charger. It was affordable and works for my needs.

Mantooth: I initially purchased this back in July of 2021 for my new-to-me 2017 Chevy Volt. I used this as an everyday EVSE to replenish the battery on my Volt. This EVSE never skipped a beat and performed flawlessly while I owned that car. Jump ahead to the last week of December 2022 and this same EVSE is now hooked up to my new 2022 Ford Mach-E GT. Once again this unit is performing flawlessly. If you already have a 20amp 220v circuit installed such as I did, then this charger is perfect. If you are looking to install a new circuit for your EV,I recommend going bigger if you can. More juice in less time is always a good thing. The Lectron brand has yet to let me down! 👍👍👍

Le Barbu: Super produit abordable. Il est tel que la description le dit. Commentaire: le fil est raide par température froide. Contrairement à d’autre marque, il est peu souple. Par contre, il est solide et ne semble pas vouloir briser facilement, même à -15C.
Sinon la recharge est tel qu’indiquer dans la description du produit. Vous n’avez qu’à acheter des prises 240V de marque Leviton et tout fonctionne. Je recommande

Amazon Customer: I’ll leave my original review below because I was happy with this cable for 14 months. But, on 14 months TO THE DAY! The cable failed completely. None of the lights come on. I’ve tried it on different outlets. Customer service says too bad because it’s 2 months past the 1 years warranty. A $300 cable shouldn’t fail in14 months. This is just another example of cheap Chinese products with good marketing.

This was the third charge cable I bought after the two previous had failures. So far, this was is far better for two primary reasons and is only lagging in one.
+1) The cable is rated for 32 amps and the controller actually has a step-down transformer so you don't have to worry about what is coming out of the outlet. The other chargers required me to adjust my car's draw to prevent them from over-amping. This was very annoying since I didn't always know what the outlet I was plugged into was rated for. Now, I can just leave my car at max amperage and just plug in the cable and charge. No extra steps.
+2) The length of this cable is great. Some others claimed to be this long but had included the handle or were much shorter than advertised....

Allan Caplan: The charger was delivered on time and the packaging was really good. I made a point of going out to run my battery down a bit so that i could see how quickly the charger brought it back. With 1/3 of the battery depleted it brought it back to full charge in just over an hour. With the trickle charger it would have taken at least 4 hours. Unless things go wrong in the future i am very, very satisfied with it.
