Perfect for the recommended ages with lots of different characters with a 4 step process to draw them.
Pretty straight forward and easy to understand.

AddictedToReading-WhenPossible: This book is good in that it shows you what each step progression of the drawings look like. It's a bit advanced at times for lower grades, as the first starting picture can have a weird shape, and with no reference to what it's a part of, can be just a blob for kids to try to copy. But other than that, it works really well, and most items can be done with little to no experience. :)

mw: Gave this as a gift for my niece (7) and we had fun drawing. It can be a bit hard ( for me as the adult that can't draw) but there is enough variety that it is still fun for the kids to find something they want to draw. Was well worth the price

Lady Revaerd: I purchased this book, so I could work with my grandchildren, to teach them how to draw. Many of the images are cute. That got the attention of my grandchildren. The instructional images are simple, and easy to follow. Even if one is an adult, it is still a good book, to help with the learning process of art and drawing. I would recommend this book to anyone, who is interested in learning to draw, or to anyone with children, to help teach them how to draw.

Grams: I bought this for my youngest granddaughter because my old granddaughter is constantly drawing, sketching and creating, and my youngest always wants to do the same so I first got her a book of drawing all sorts of vehicles. She LOVES cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc... Anyway, when i saw her drawings, I was amazed at how well she did so I thought this would be great for her as she loves animals too. Children from 5yrs old and up should have these books. It is great in an educational way also. I definitely recommend this for kids. They have a series of drawing books so you can choose whichever one your children are interested in. I am getting the dinosaurs next.
