K Samuelson: This is a great book to clarify some of my foundational questions about Spanish grammar. It is more oriented toward those who enjoy reading as the text doesn't include a lot of diagrams or illustrations. Brand new, arrived in beautiful condition.

Elizabeth Of Abingdon: An easy read good for revision if you have studied at above beginner level. Lacks needed explanation for the beginner, but I have studied beginners, and elementary Spanish so find it a relaxing read to revise and extend my knowledge.

Martin Poirier: I might update later if my opinion changes as I'm just getting started, but so far I think it starts quite strong, and I'm talking about the "Beginner" book.
Chapter 1 was easy. "Articles and Adjectives". I already knew all that stuff, as I have some knowledge of Spanish already, but decided to restart from the beginning.
Chapter 2 is already much more difficult. "Preposiciones" The examples given for using those prepositions use sentences with non-beginner verb tenses in my opinion, like subjunctive, past tense (or is it preterito?, not sure about those things...) which made it hard for me to follow. Also, the exercises in Chapter 2 include a few trick questions i.e. questions which you can only answer if you already have some knowledge of Spanish, you won't be able to answer those by re-reading the lesson that precedes the exercises.
That's where i am right now, only 2 chapters done. I'll keep making progress, but so far, based on what I'm reading, my impression is that this would be a great book for Spanish teachers to use with their students, but for self-learning, I'm not so sure.

Shaun Crona: I really like this book because has so different and interesting stories. There are six books just in one and it explains to you Spanish in detail. I didn’t know much and now I can understand a basic conversation. I will be studying more.
