Steven McKeown: I read this book when it originally came out. I then paid my teenage daughter at the time to read it after failing to make a sporting team in high school. I've purchased this book for my leadership staff. And this copy was purchased for a dear friend who just failed her medical boards and is having to start back to school. The principles taught in this book are encouraging, timeless, and universal. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Melodie: So many amazing points! Delivered through stories that really hammer the points home, this is a book I will be ordering in paperback so I can mark up and flag the pages that I need to go back to again and again.

Paul Sulla Gonzales: To bear in mind:
1. Realize there is one major difference between average people and achieving people.
2. Learn a new definition of failure.
3. Remove the “you” from failure.
4. Take action and reduce your fear.
5. Change your response to failure by accepting responsibility.
6. Don’t let the failure from outside get inside you.
7. Say good-bye to yesterday.
8. Change yourself, and your world changes.
9. Get over yourself and start giving yourself.
10. Find the benefit in every bad experience.
11. If at first you do succeed, try something harder.
12. Learn from a bad experience and make it a good experience.
13. Work on the weakness that weakens you.
14. Understand there’s not much difference between failure and success. 15. Get up, get over it, get going.

Amazon Customer: I bought this book because I was going through a very tough time in my life. I had failed my uni exams for the first time and felt paralysed by anxiety and disappointment. By reading this book and absorbing the lessons in it I was able to turn all my ‘failures’ into successes. ( passed my resits and now going after all my goals fearlessly) .All change stems from changing the mind and that’s exactly what this book did for me. Thank you Mr Maxwell.

David H. Kinder, RFC, ChFC, CLU: The other day, I was just thinking that, whenever I can get out of my own way, I'd write a book about my experience... and I'd call it "Failing Forward". Then I thought, "I wonder if anyone else wrote a book with that title?" So glad I saw and began to read this!
I won't go into my own past history. Let's just say that I had been in a self-preservation cycle for a long time and I didn't know why I was doing what I was doing. I thought that I needed more training and that would help? But admittedly, I've been exposed to some of the greatest mentoring and training in my entire industry... and it didn't change me. I know it's not information that I'm missing, but some form of motivation... and for some reason I wasn't "getting out of my own way".
I began to devour this book! This book showed me why I was doing what I was doing... how it wasn't helping me, and what the path is! It's also great to know that I have this roadmap of how to bounce back from future failure experiences (or just setbacks) so I can "bounce back" far quicker and easier in the future! (It would be naïve to believe that I wouldn't suffer another set-back again.)
I have this great feeling of...

Nevena Atanasova: The book is awesome and in great condition. Excellent price too. However, I received it 2 days late (not a big deal) and covered in dust. It took me 2 seconds to clean and I’m not sure why it hasn’t been done by the seller. Overall all is good but just a bit annoyed.

Amazon Customer: The book Failing Forward truly changed my perspective on the way that I perceive a failure. As the book states, it is very easy to fail backwards meaning that you blame others for the mistakes that you made, and you plan to never fail again. This is how I use to be before reading this book. Now when I fail, I fail forward. This means that I know that failure is just a part of the progress towards my goal. I will learn from my mistakes, and I will take all of the credit for the past failure. I will continue to look towards the future by taking new risks, and I will expect to fail again. I know that failure is unavoidable, but that is all apart of the journey that I will need to take to succeed.
In the past, I had a short temper with others whenever I did something incorrectly. I often did not even speak to people when I made a mistake. After reading this book, I know now to learn from my errors and control my temper. Having a bad attitude will only make maters worse. That being said, the state of being content is what everyone should strive for. Do not dwell on past mistakes, but continue to pursue your goal even if you think you are past the point of no return. A great example...
