Danielle: 240 colors and there’s no black or white? There’s some close browns and lighter colors but no true black or true white. That surprised me.

JenniferJennifer: There is so much embroidery floss in this pack…it is well worth the price. I found the quality to be good overall, & although it may not be exactly the level of DMC per say, I didn’t notice a marked difference in the level of quality. I think if you’re using this for the purposes of friendship bracelets like I am, it’s a very good choice, as I noticed you get two skiens of each color & you just get so much floss. If you’re using this for embroidery, you may grow frustrated, as they are not numbered, so you’d have to try & eyeball whether the color is a match, & you just may not have enough to tackle your project. I haven’t had an opportunity to make a friendship bracelet with these yet…basically just organized them putting the two identical skiens in bags together, & coming up with my own numbers based on a rainbow order, & whether they’re brights or morandi colors.

laura mcanally: 2 skeins of each color and I believe it is 8 yards each skein for under like 12 dollars is a great deal . The color selection is wonderfull Iam very excited to use this yarn, when Iam in the mood I will be very happy with all of the color selection , its a full rainbough and all of the hughs to boot . The quality seems good , the price was great if you need more color in your handyworks buy this brand you will be happy

SuperConnected: I've had to buy floss for random projects for years - amagurumi faces as I won't use the locking eyes and noses - they come out and are a baby hazzard, and I like to use floss for faces anyway. Also, pumpkin pin coushions and the strawberry pin coushions that ones I constantly make as sachets - the green floss is great for the hanging loop at the end of the stems. Then there is the embroidery which I'm taking flower lessons for on youTube and what I really justified this much floss in this kit for. I love the color variety and haven't had issue with this floss. It maybe enough to last me for the rest of my life. I would buy again. If you do take up flower embroidery I would say this is a must have. I want to get into embroidered foxes now so the greys and the browns will be used.

Meryl: I didn't really know what to expect when I ordered these threads but they really exceeded my expectations! I haven't washed anything yet to see if it is colour-fast, but the threads themselves are smooth, silky and they appear really strong. The colour-range is also amazing!

Meg: I've been embroidering on and off for a few years now, and just started devoting more time to it these past few months. When I started up again, I realized that I wasn't happy with my colour selection, but I didn't have money to go and buy floss bundles from Michaels, or even individual skeins for specific projects. I saw this bundle on Amazon and decided to get it!

For beginners, I think that this is a great product. There's a huge colour selection, and you get 2 of each colour. Mine didn't have any of the shadows (White, Black, or Grey), but that wasn't a huge concern for me since you can buy those pretty much anywhere.

There are a few negatives, but this is really affordable, so I can excuse them. The skeins aren't numbered, so if you're following a specific pattern or tutorial you may struggle a bit, but it also opens you up to be more creative! You can always cross-reference with a DMC colour wheel and number it yourself if you have the time, though.

I had about 3 or 4 skeins where they very clearly took 2 different strands of thread and tied them together, but this isn't really a big deal to me. Just something to note. And the only other negative is that...

CassCass: Great colors and there is two of each! But no black or grey, there are some pretty dark blues and browns. There is a lot of pink and blue colors but only one red! They’re soft and the quality is not the best but it’s good for beginners.
