Audrie WoodsAudrie Woods: I would like to say that this product was well worth the money I appreciate the little extras that were included in my package purchase the problem I did have was that if I didn't know any better I would have struggled to thread the embroidery needles that was an added extra it was a nice little gift but the needle head hole is not the size for the embroidery thread that was in this package. I still enjoyed it all I had to do was split my thread in half and it was still thick enough for my project. I would definitely recommend this package of rainbow color embroidery thread to my craft friends. I also like the handy little scissors that came in this package I was surprised that they were even sharp enough to cut my thread sharper than my own embroidery scissors.

Rue23: I'm really impressed with the selection of colors in this variety pack! I feel like this is a great item for anyone who is learning to embroider and wants to have lots of color options on hand. Honestly the scissors and needles suck, and I'll probably end up throwing them away (the scissors are not sharp enough to cut thread. The needles might work as tapestry needles, but only one or two of them were sharp enough to use for most embroidery stitches). I'd definitely buy this again if I ever need more thread...but I feel like this will last me a long time! Would absolutely recommend!

Zoe: I got this during the Black Friday event so the cost was just over $5. but even at it's nearly $12. price this is an incredibly good deal. I measured one of these skeins against a new DMC skein (9 meters) and found this brand to only be about 2 feet shorter. The thread quality is absolutely wonderful! I'm embroidering on a Levi denim jacket & not had a single thread break. The colors are spectacular & are so close to the DMC colors the difference is nearly imperceptible. The skeins were all a matt finish since they're cotton. You get 1 skein of each color. I'm fine with that given the kind of embroidery I do is all about lots of colors vs large areas of the same color. The colors are a spectacular selection & so incredibly vibrant. I'm a thousand percent thrilled with this thread. I've seen people say it's not colorfast but most aren't & that's easy to remedy. Remove the paper wrapper from the skein, soak it in 2 cups hot water with 2 Tablespoons of white distilled vinegar. Remove the thread & press dry in a old towel then leave set until it's dry. If you handle the skein carefully it won't get knotted. Just don't roll it around. I've always done this with all...

Blue HorizonBlue Horizon: This is a good kit for beginners or small projects. The color selection is great and thread quality seems alright, I am yet to use it though. The size is more like sample size which is not bad because we can try it first and get more of a particular color if needed. It’s color coded and matches DCM skeins’ code, which is the brand I like to use otherwise. The package contained 125 skeins and a pair of scissors but the needles were missing and hence I am deducting a point. The packaging was poor and came apart really quickly, wonder if the needles fell out, would have been nice to receive the kit as advertised and not part of it missing.
Update: These threads are not as good as DMC skeins. The color is dull and the same as DMC. It’s somewhat similar but not the same. Thread quality is not the same and I doubt if it’s pure cotton. I wouldn’t use it for serious embroidery projects.

Harlan Harmison: This set of embroidery floss has a wide variety of colors. The little scissors and needles were a nice bonus! When my pack arrived it had come out of the plastic wrap it was in so it took me a while to get it all untangled. It would have held up better in sturdier packaging. It could also be that in the last month all of my Amazon packages look like they were used as a football by the delivery people! The reasons I rated 4 stars was that the skeins are a good bit smaller than other brands, including generic, I have ordered. Other than the shortness of the floss, it is of good quality.
