Amazon Customer: I bought a great old chair off Craigslist. It had a very unfortunate old smell that ended up filling my whole front room. I tried vinegar and baking soda, to no avail. I tried cedar. Then I tried this. Awesome. Truly removed the odor. The lavender scent from essential oil was just a bonus (since I like lavender), not an attempt to mask the odor. I soaked it all over twice, because the odor was so potent. The chair and room can now be enjoyed. Thank you!

MickiMicki: First, I LOVE this product. I am a costumer and dancer with an 80s band and this stuff really gets the funk out. Doesn't matter the material it keeps things fresh. My biggest complaint, after using this product for over a year and never having an issue, is my own mistake. I sprayed my own costume down after a gig and did not let it dry completely before putting it away. And this is what happened (see photos). The purple and pink arms which get folded inside the white unitard bled everywhere, through both sides of the costume. This costume gets put away in its own special bag and I have never had any issue with color bleed before, I have used Defunkify on this costume several times but it has always had time to dry. I also sweat a lot in this costume and my arms have never turned purple or pink. It is $130 I did not expect to spend to replace this custom made costume. Take my warning: DO NOT PUT AWAY IF THERE IS EVEN A HINT OF MOISTURE FROM DEFUNKIFY ON YOUR CLOTHING IT WILL BLEED COLORS.

Sandra: I have two dogs that did some counter surfing while I was gone. They ate five sticks of butter, paper and all. When I returned they had vomit and diarrhea all over the place. I spent four back-breaking days trying to get the vomit smell from my two-year-old couch and the carpet I had installed three years ago. I tried everything I could think of that had a chance of killing the smell. I hired a carpet cleaner to come in and that didn’t help. I used a handheld Bissell machine on the couch, scrubbed the couch with dish soap and hot water, washed the cushions covers three times in the washer, left the cushions outside for days in the fresh air, not to mention using a handful of smelly sprays. The vomit and poo smell was still there. I had decided I was going to have to replace the couch and pull up the carpet and pad. I had even made a phone calls to the furniture store to see if they still carried my couch. I was googling hardwood floor companies in town. At the last minute I decided to get on Amazon and look to see if there was something amazing out there to try one last time. I came across Defunkify Oder Remover spray that had outstanding reviews by everyone....
