Lavemi Men's Genuine Leather Ratchet Belt with Automatic Buckle for Formal Wear

J. Godwin: This is the second leather ratchet belt I have bought. I first bought a brown one, which was the first ratchet belt I have ever owned. It has worked so good for several months now, showing no signs of wear, that I have now bought a black leather ratchet belt. These belts look great, have nice looking buckles, and appear they will last for years. I wish I had discovered these several decades ago (if they existed then!), would have saved me a lot of money, and frustration with "regular" belts that wear out in 6-12 months due to the buckle prong holes wearing out quickly. I highly recommend this product!

Ryan B.: I first purchased one of these belts about 2 years ago and can't really see myself using any other type of belt after.

The buckle mechanism is so simple and easy to use and I've never it loosen a single time.

After about two years my first leather belt was starting to look a bit worn especially on the edges of where the belt buckle contacts the leather.

So I purchased a replacement strap in order to donate my old buckle + new strap to my brother and purchase a new buckle + strap for myself.

George Ross: This belt arrived in it's own box, looks great and was fairly easy to size. Remember, measure twice, cut once. Although, I cut as instructed after holding it around my waist and ended up cutting more, so the tail wasn't as long. The belt looks and feels great. Had no problems attaching the buckle, follow the instructions and it held all day. The only con is that the release button is so small, it will take some getting use to to release the ratchet. This is a very good belt for the price.

FaithAndFamily: This is my 3rd ratchet style belt and by far my favorite brand. I lost a fair amount of weight and then started put some back on through weight lifting so having a belt that can adjust slightly rather than be tight or loose because on incremental hole progression has been wonderful. It has helped with back pain as well, having previous belts too tight has caused all kinds of back stiffness. The belt buckles are also easily interchangeable so I have a black and brown belt but a number of buckles that I can use depending on the occassion

LaurenLauren: Ratcheting mechanism is still functioning properly after almost 2 years (Purchased early November 2020) of me wearing this daily in a non-climate controlled shop (in the Atlanta heat 7/8ths of the year) where I'm frequently changing from sitting to standing, bending over, carrying heavy objects (some of them against the buckle as evidenced by the scratches).

Only issue I can take with it is that the leather has cracked (started around 6 months ago but only significantly more recently) at the edge of the watching portion of the belt. Considering the amount of sweat/salt this thing has endured and the price, I'm honestly surprised it hasn't messed up before this.

As someone who has slowly but steadily lost 35 lbs over those 2 years (and continuing), the small incremental adjustability has been a godsend.

Wish I could just order an extra belt without the buckle as I plan on using my current buckle at work until it breaks, but having a nicer back up that I can easily switch to for my off days isn't so bad either.

As many other reviews have noted, the clamp that attaches the buckle to the non-ratcheting end of the belt does eventually come loose and require...

Lo que es el cinturón esta bien. Le tuve que poner la hebilla del cinturón azul anterior y asi lo solucione. Cambien ese color de hebilla, de verdad es horrible

Patrick Saysana: I wear these with dress pants for work parties and weddings. Adjusting the length was easy and the ratchet seems very durable. It looks and feels great but the tip of the belt is starting to visibly wear out after a couple of months of usage.

Al Wozney: It was as advertised and looks terrific. I am not an expert on leather but the quality seems as good as belts that I have owned in the past (and I have owned several, I’m 83 years old) and paid much more for. I wouldn’t hesitate to order again.
