JS: In no way can you compare this with a proper Spectrum Analyzer. I have an Anritsu Spectrum Master that costs over 15k and can provide very accurate readings at very high resolution. This meter is not accurate at all compared with the Anritsu but it can inform the user of the basics: like how much radiation is generated from your cell phone and your microwave and you home WiFi access point/router. However, a lot of this information will just scare the user. The reality is that the majority and the worse radiation we get on a regular basis is actually coming from the sun. Only if you are suffering from headaches and feeling sick for unknown reasons should you even begin to suspect that you are being overexposed to radiation. In a vast majority of cases, only people working in the cellular industry have a chance of begin over-exposed.
Best use of this meter: for testing how much your microwave is leaking. Microwave a glass of water with the meter on and observe the levels until they drop to a "safe" level. This will be at approximately 10 to 15 feet from the microwave, depending on the type and age of your microwave. Same with a cellphone: check while streaming data, on a call,...

Il prodotto è davvero ben fatto e ha anche una PERFETTA copertura di gomma + borsello da trasporto.
La lettura è credibile. In linea con le aspettative, con le caratteristiche e posizione/distanza degli apparecchi trasmittenti.

Cosa non mi è piaciuto.
Le letture sugli smartphone non funzionano su una buona metà dei dispositivi.
Ho provato a cambiare tipo di connessione: 2G, 3G, 4G. Per un paio di secondi dopo il passaggio, le letture ci sono, di diversi V/m, dopo torna a non fare nessuna lettura, come se .
Non sono riuscito a capire come mai l'attività elettromagnetica di alcuni dispositivi cellulari viene rilevata bene, mentre di altri no, come se non avvenga nessuna connessione.

A me serve per dimostrare le "onde" emesse dagli smartphone e quindi lo sto restituendo.
A chi da per scontata l'attività radioelettrica dei dispositivi mobili e ha necessità di operare tutti gli altri tipi di misure (Wi-Fi, forno a microonde, BTS cellulari, dispositivi bluetooth, PC, ecc), questo strumento andrà benissimo!
Lo consiglio.

Ron Knight: Works exactly as described. Has been an eyeopener to say the least regarding exactly where the high emissions are originating within my house. It was quick to see that my WIFI unit and cordless phone system are the two of the highest steady offenders! It allowed me to quickly relocate my WIFI unit further away from me, as it used to be sitting right in front of me! By simply moving it about a 18" away, the radiation dropped significantly from 3-4 volts down to around 500 millivolts - still high, but much better. I also found that my Sharp Carousel microwave oven shield doesn't stop near the radiation we have all been led to believe. I found that you need to stand back at least 5-6 feet from it when running for the radiation to drop down from a whopping 15 volts down to around 300 millivolts. …. and like a fool, I have often had my face right up to the window watching things cook, thinking that I was being shielded!! And finally, it has been an eye opener to see the amount of radiation we are all bombarded with as we drive on the roads. It's certainly quick and easy to locate cell towers nearby! I do recommend that you have someone else watching the meter - and you keep your eyes...

Pellegrino: We bought this to test radiation emitted from cell phones. We highly recommend this meter. It provided accurate measurements, and we learned how to use it quickly, even though we had no experience with it. The manufacturer has been fantastic and truly helpful on several calls and emails. They were quick to reply and happy to help answer my questions. Their customer service was amazing. From what we have learned from buying this meter, our cell phones are giving off more radiation than we thought ... be careful, everyone! Keep your cell phones away from your bodies (use speaker phone) and limit your time on calls.

wizzar: I received the meter but am not sure how to use it and do not know what the readings mean. The manual that comes with it did some what explain how the meter works. Did find someone on line that makes an attempt to explain how the meter works. He says to use cm2 but I could not get any readings and used m2 to get some readings.[...]

I'd be glad to help you to understand and interpret your readings. For people who do not have previous experience with EMF meters, we recommend you use "μ W/cm2" (microwatts per square centimeter) as your unit of measurement. You can change this by pressing the "Unit/Enter" button until the unit you want appears; it will be just below the readings and to the right of the "XYZ" symbol on the screen. This is a much less sensitive unit of measurement and will probably make it easier for you to read.

Although there is no universally agreed upon "safe levels" of EMF radiation, we believe that users should not let the readings exceed 0.003 μ W/cm2 in their environment. Anything above this is considered unsafe, and may...
