DDevore: I'm storing patio furniture cushions in this, the size is perfect. It was easy to put together but I did have to rearrange the sides to fasten the hydraulic arms, so be careful you have it right before you lock the screws down. Luckily I had only finger tightened mine.

GloryGirlGloryGirl: Don’t let other reviews scare you. I am a 66 year old female and assembled this solo in just over an hour! I didn’t have any issues with screws and holes lining up….just follow directions and don’t tighten until you have all screws from a step installed. It hasn’t rained yet, so can’t speak to waterproof, but with inner lining, things should be protected. I have covers on my outdoor sectionals and chairs. Plan to store those covers in this chest, that matches well! While not intended as a bench, It is sturdy enough to use as a table top (perhaps with a tray) for drinks or snacks! Very pleased with this and like the pneumatic hinges on lid so it stays up and doesn’t slam on fingers, even in the wind.

AmazonHAmazonH: The media could not be loaded. Did a lot of searching for the right deck box to store our patio cushions. We have a loveseat and 2 chairs (8 cushions total) plus 5 decorative pillows. Everything fits nice, only caveat is if you over-stuff the inside the lid won’t close all the way. Everything has stayed dry! And we have had some big downpours this summer. Will likely purchase a cover for winter for extra protection.
