Scott Hedrick: According to the owner of the bird, the bird took about an hour to brave coming up to it for examination. It recognized a bell, and began pecking at it. He chewed a couple of blocks. The next day, he'd managed to pull off a bell and was surprised as all the blocks on that chain fell on him. When he recovered from that surprise, he began throwing the blocks around, and making all kinds of noise. Just as I'd hoped. Yes, I'd say this is a successful toy, good for substantial entertainment for the bird, and quiet revenge for me. I expect I'll be buying another one for Christmas next year.

SNSN: My African Grey loves this toy. I love it because it’s base is a metal chain instead of rope. It takes him a very long time to destroy this one. He loves to grab it and shake his head up and down like he just don’t care. 🤣
The colors are vibrant and strong. Not to mention it’s food grade and “safe” if he was to consume any of the wood. The value for the money spend is good because of the quality and durability of this toy.

Jude: Good chew toy but didn't last long. Also the blue color not permanent if wet. Previously purchased same in red. No color transfer. Would buy again but not blue.

Gala: I normally purchase (from saame company) RED toy. I totally regret that I took a chance and got the blue. The blue one is horrible, bird in 1 min chewed through the main hole that holds everything together, and went down with a toy. He hurt himself. This blue (grape) toy is not for African grey birds. Unsafe. I wish I can get my money back, so I can buy the red one. I will never buy it again, and do not recomend this one! Horrible!

LindsayLindsay: I give 4 stars because of the bell! The toy itself is great...BUT Please for the love of everything feathered REMOVE THE BELLS!! These are NOT safe for bigger beaks at all, at least not this style bell. My military macaw has been cuddling this toy since I put it in with her and all night but she does chew from time to time and decided to chew the bell....I’m sooo happy she knows when to stop! Other then the bell issue the toy is great! My military wants to marry it and my blue and gold wants nothing to do with it! Win some, lose some!
