Lanolin-Free Nipple Butter by The First Years - All Natural Care for Nursing Moms

Alexgumahester: LOVE this nipple butter! Literally the best thing EVER! I’ve been through 2 babies soon to be 3 and I will literally never get anything else besides this nipple butter/cream. It doesn’t feel gross and tacky when applied and baby does not mind it at all. Doesn’t discolor or ruin your clothes and really brings comfort for those first few days of breastfeeding. Should be called Miracle Butter/Cream because that’s what it really is haha.

Tiffany Sprouse: I used this with the baby I had before my new one lol, I bought it again, it's like chapstick for your nipples, it doesn't entirely eliminate pain but it drastically lessens it! I've always been leery of using lanolin sense I've always ready you need to wash it off before nursing your baby and that's why I bought this, it's lanolin free. You don't have to wash it off and it doesn't harm your infant. Definitely got me through the first few weeks of soreness

Bethany Froehlich: Honestly this product worked better as a lip balm than it did for nipple care. I'm going on 3 months of breastfeeding and greatly sought some relief. I used this product frequently and here's my observations; baby had no issues with taste and fed normally, nipples were still very dry feeling after use but the balm prevented cracking, when warm it gets watery and messy, putting it in the fridge was a bad idea as the balm didn't want to squeeze out, as far as soreness relief goes it didn't help, and as a lip balm it did make my lips glossy and stay hydrated in the bitter wind. Overall I think this product would be better if it had stronger hydrating properties as it works for lips but not very well for dry nipples.

Tormentrix: I didn't get to breastfeed much this time. My baby was almost 10 lbs. and I just could make enough milk to feed her. I supplemented as much as possible and ended up barely getting to use this on my nipples. I was very happy with it though. I did help the soreness and I didn't get cracked nipples at all for the first time. It also kept my skin from getting stuck the the breast pads which is also a first for me. I didn't need to wash off before feeding. Baby didn't reject latching on while using this.... This product is already in my baby products hall of fame! So I kept it around when I no longer needed it figuring I could use it for other things. I was thinking as a base for essential oils or something until my baby got eczema on her face...
Nothing worked on her. It was very bad and I remembered how gentle, soothing, and fast acting this product was so I tried it on my baby's face. The next day she was 90% healed!!! Unbelievable. This product is epic. I gave it to my teenage son that has eczema too.

Shannon: I am a first time mom who seriously struggled with breast feeding for the first two weeks. My daughter was born with a small issue with her tong that made it difficult for her to latch on. This combinded with a c-section delivery delayed my milk coming in. The nurses recommended I try to feed her for at least 15 minutes, and then pump for at least 30 minutes every two hours to see if my milk would come in. Needless to say, her latching issues and the constant pumping distroyed my nipples (even though I was using this product all along). We had her tong fixed but when my milk finally came in, my nipples were bleeding so bad I didn't feel comfortable giving her the milk.

While I cried about feeling like a failure, my husband researched my troubles online. He found that nipple creams are actually detrimental to the initial healing process. Instead, I stopped using the creams, I slept without a bra or shirt and we fed her formula for a day to give my nipples a chance to dry out and heal.
