MAMNOHMAMNOH: News flash: I purchased the 3-bar version of this towel rack in March 2023, and there is no number or writing stamped on it anywhere! Apparently, the manufacturer listened to customer complaints and eliminated the tacky and unsightly writing that previous rewiewers had shown was etched on the face of the towel bar. You gotta love that! Kudos to the manufacturer!

I bought this for my master bathroom. Previous owners of my house had mounted their towel bars flanking, and just inches away from, the toilet. For that reason, I've never used them. To me this is just plain gross, since there was wall space available elsewhere.

Some necessary info I wanted to know before I purchased, but that was not listed... Using a tape measure, the towel rack at its maximum width measures 31" wide overall. At 31" wide, the hanging space of each bar, meaning the central horizontal part of the bars not including the knobs that attach them to the mounting frame, is 29" wide. I was looking for a towel bar that would not only fit in my bathroom, but also would allow a bath towel to neatly hang completely spread out with no bunching for better drying. Asunción: Compré este toallero porque el anterior que tenía, comprado en Leroy Merlín, me salió malísimo. Al ser extensible lo pude acoplar en los agujeros antiguos.
Lo malo es que la placa trasera es muy endeble.
Ahora a esperar un tiempo para ver el resultado que da.

amoebaamoeba: As the title says, the concept of this product is great. I have an awkward sized space in my bathroom that wouldn’t fit a normal, stock sized towel bar. When I found this I figured I would give it a shot since I had limited options anyway.

Pros:
-Works as advertised. Just pull bars apart to the width that you want and install.
-The hooks on the bottom of each wall plate is a nifty add on that I didn’t realize I needed.

Cons:
-Bar came fully disassembled with no instructions on how to piece it together. The only instructions were for hanging it on the wall after it had been assembled.
-The inside plastic bags/packaging had black marks on them, which I brushed off at first then realized it was either grease/oil from the machining process or was from the polishing process. WIPE DOWN ALL PIECES PRIOR TO ATTEMPTING TO HANG ON THE WALL OR PUTTING YOUR LINENS ON THEM. If you don’t, grease, grease everywhere.
-I wasn’t expecting the plates that go on the wall to have visible etched numbers/letters on them, so it’s a bit of a turn off overall, but I’ll manage.
-It’s a little flimsy once you get it together, but hoping it lasts after it’s been...

Anonymous: I found this to be a very well crafted and solid towel shelf. The steel tubing is thick and holds a great shine. It is very easy to install. Also, its size is perfect for over the toilet tank wall placement. I put one in the master bath and in the guest bath. The curved design makes it less obstrusive visually and physically.
One thing, do not use the included mounting plastic anchors. They lack any real grip. And the option to use the provided glue...forget about it, not applicable.
I forgot, it's ability to expand to different lengths is a great feature. It will fit in narrow as well as wider spaces, depending on your bathroom layout and needs. I extended mine to their full lengths and they remained strong and solid. No wiggling or sagging.
All in all, I am very satisfied with this product and highly recommend it.
