Kindle customers: I never thought I needed this for my home but since I am now homeschooling my daughter, it has been very helpful, useful, awesome, and convenient. Glad I purchased.

I Loved:
convenience,
easy instructions,
different size of laminator sheets,
it has hot/cold mode for older precious pictures (which is also the reason I purchased),
and the paper cutter (not precise but it will do).

I didn’t care for:
corner cutter- the blade was either dull or misaligned because it did not leave a clean cut and I went back and had to clean up corner with scissors.
The smell it emits while heating up and laminating is tolerable but if you are or have sensory sensitive individuals in the house, I would definitely use in garage or well ventilated area.

Ginny Mae: This is a nice laminator for the price. I've only done hot laminating so far, but it has worked flawlessly: I put in a pouch and it comes out laminated. Kind of all you could ask for a laminator to do, right?

Wrong! I never realized how much I needed a rounded edge punch in my life until I got the one included with this. I'm rounding edges all over the place, and usually for no reason other than that it makes a very satisfying noise when you use it. I even rounded the edges of the instructions (for safety).

Back to the laminator: it heats up in a reasonable amount of time (I wouldn't call it fast, but it's not excessively slow), comes back up to temperature quickly after laminating a sheet, and has not set anything on fire.

The included pouches laminate well - clean and clear - as did the other pouches I had from another vendor.

Honest OneHonest One: I've been meaning to buy a quality laminator for years. However, I wanted to get the cold lamination feature on it and that wasn't available with the less expensive thermal laminators sold. That's why it's great to find out with this machine you get the benefit of both systems. I have many old newspaper obituary and wedding picture clippings I will only trust with the cold lamination feature to preserve. I was always afraid of damaging them including my old B/W pictures in a simple hot thermal laminator. The first thing I did when this machine arrived was to go ahead and try out the cold lamination feature. I bought separate self adhesive cold laminating pouches specifically intended for that purpose. The instructions were easy to follow in the manual provided (see pic) I simply waited for the green light to turn on and inserted my document. It turned out just great. Granted it allowed for me to do what I could've normally done by hand using a ruler or say a credit card but a lot more professionally. The separate machine roller provides a perfect 360 degree equal pressure application all the way around versus me doing it manually by hand. I don't have to risk getting any bubbles...

Lisa MLisa M: I bought this laminator based solely on the great reviews. It was delivered the next day and I excitedly unboxed it. I bought it to laminate my sewing patterns so they last longer. It made quick work of the patterns and the included paper cutter made it very easy to trim them. The only suggestion I would make is to include a diagram of how to get the lamination pouches apart. I nearly ripped it open in frustration. There is a little transparent emblem at the bottom of the pouch. That is where I was able to open it to insert my document. They were fairly well stuck together and extremely difficult to get apart. Perhaps the heat during transit causes them to adhere. Aside from that, I am really pleased with the product.

Adam S: This has been amazing for home schooling our 4 & 6 year olds. Being able to laminate worksheets and the ability to use dry erase markers makes it so easy for the kids to keep practicing/learning their letters and math. Item shipped quickly, and arrived with a nice little cutter to round off the pointy corners, which is great for our preschooler. It also came with a paper cutter, but we haven’t used that yet since we have only needed to do full sheets. Heats up quick, and haven’t had any issues laminating. Great purchase, and price was right. Only problem, is now kids want us to laminate every drawing they do, lol
