C. Kizner: I have over processed fine hair from bleaching to quite a high level. I changed to dark blonde, but wanted to colour less often, so when the roots had grown out a bit, I tried this product and it was a godsend. Root Rescue effectively coloured my roots seamlessly and also made my hair more manageable. I was able to colour the growth quickly and then shampoo right away in the shower. This product is great if you do not want to colour all of your hair as often and put the ends through the stress that they would otherwise experience from that process. More time between full colourings = better for your hair in the long run! But just to let you know if you're a person with thick hair: the kit does not provide a lot of product.

Nancy: I still can't believe I never knew about this product before? I get my hair colored dark blonde. My hair is now 95% grey. One day I was doing my weekly Amazon Fresh shopping and saw this. Funny, I wasn't looking for it since I don't buy hair color kits and never knew this existed. When I saw it, I bought it because I had to try it out. The reviews were great and the concept seemed great and you can't beat the price. I thought if I could stretch out getting my hair colored by another month, that would be nice. So I picked Easter to do it before getting in the shower to get ready to go out. I was a little nervous because I thought how is this item going to match up with the hair color on my head now? So I put it on. Very easy, loved the brush applicator. The only "little" negative was they only give you a small amount to use. So you better pick carefully what you're going to color. For me, it was all around my face and on top of my head where all the gray outgrowth is visible. Mary Ann: I had been going to the salon for years to cover my gray and was always afraid to try doing it myself. Well, recently we had to cut back on our expenses, and I decided to try this product. The picture on the box looked like my hair color, so I gave it a try. That was four months ago. I no longer go to the salon. It matched up perfectly and looks beautiful. I actually get more complements on my hair now. I have to keep it on for 15 to twenty minutes to really cover the grays, but it really works. I can cover my whole scalp area with one box. The best is that I start seeing the gray roots after three weeks and when I went to the salon, I would go every four weeks, which meant that for one week you would see the gray roots. Now I do my hair the second I see the gray. So no one really ever sees my gray roots. I would highly recommend this product. It has already saved me hundreds of dollars.
