Avid ReaderAvid Reader: Let me say it’s a beautiful star and it goes perfectly with my tree but and here’s the big but, there is no way to attach it to the tree! The base and the top are exactly the same. There are no clamps on the back. Then I realized that there was a piece missing! A small piece that fits on the bottom of the star. Sooooo, I wrapped the star in fishing line Cris crossing it several times. Then I used silver pipe cleaners ran it through the fishing line and wrapped it around the top of the tree.

Kelley CKelley C: The lights inside look exactly as pictured and the warm tone exactly matches the lights in my tree. I did find it to be top heavy, but a little floral wire around the base holds it in place well. The cord is more than long enough for a tree of about 3'5" like mine. Would definitely need an extension cord for anything 6 ft or taller. I took one star off for the price. In Canada it seems to be selling for double what US customers are paying based on other reviews.

SparkleSparkle: This star bought so much joy to my heart when i put it on my tree and lite it up. It is a beautiful star with so much light it just radiates. I looked at several other stars that were higher in price but this star has so many positive reviews that I knew I could not go wrong. I was right!. The start is plastic but the light shine so brightly. It did not include a remove but that was okay because it is not that difficult to turn off. I highly recommend this star you will not be disappointed.

KJ: The media could not be loaded.  Prettier than the photos! Amazon’s or mine. The star may look a bit skinnier than it is because I’ve shot it at an angle. It’s center circle of lights on it is perfectly round. Anyway the star is really nice and is also light-weight so it’s easy to top the tree with it. I say easy because although every tree-topper I’ve ever known was difficult to get it to stay where you want it, and whatever they give you that’s supposed to make it possible to get it right falls sadly short of that goal, so just do like my husband did and attach a stout stick to the bottom of the star and then lash the stick to the top of the tree trunk (real or fake) from the top down inside . I know - he’s a keeper. And sorry about the light fixture - this was the only place we could put the tree. I just videoed my tree for a few seconds so you can see how pretty the lights twinkle (lol!)

Alan R. Edwards: By the time the postage and packing (£14.65) and customs charge is added, this item is over £40.00.
It looks and feels somewhat cheap and tatty plastic.
It has no practical way to suspend or fix this star at a reasonable height. It does have a green tube like thing which is supposed to fit on top of a christmas tree......but it's pretty useless.
It has nothing to assist in hanging it from a ceiling or the like. One has to drill a hole through the plastic and use thin wire to suspend it.
It comes fitted with a foreign style electric plug, which you'll need to cut off and and fit a British type plug.
All in all it's pretty useless without major changes but that's a risk one takes when buying it from so far away without actually seeing in for real
Get something decent instead.
MOST IMPORTANT this is designed for the American market of 115 volts. When connected to the British 240 volt supply it blew the bulbs immediately.
This should have been made absolutely clear in the description details.

RandomThoughts: This was the first year we have ever displayed an artificial tree and we wanted something different for the top so this seemed to fit the bill. Sadly, most Christmas items are plastic these days unless you want to spend way more and it's still so hard to find another material anyway. This star is very plastic, but a little retro in appearance. When it's not lit it looks like the cheap plastic it's made of. Lit, it looks nicer. It's bright and finished the tree fairly well. I would have liked it a little larger given the tree we have is 9' tall, but it's in scale none-the-less. Our tree is one of the narrower ones and this was in good proportion. It would look weird on wider trees, in my opinion. I opened the star up and moved one of the lights because it seemed in the wrong place at the bottom, but that was easy to do. The little plastic cup on the bottom used to attach it to the tree is really poorly designed. It's basically just an upside down cup so you have to jam something inside to get it to hold. We wrapped some stuff around the top of the tree and got the star on, although not very straight. A clip would be better, or a spiral of metal or they could put some sort of teeth...
