Dsimm77: I've used this backpack for 18 months of air travel, now. I feel compelled to rate it very highly and urge anyone considering buying this backpack to do it. It is extremely durable. The zippers are high-quality. The pack is plenty roomy with several sections to keep your traveling items organized. Padded laptop section. Everything I need for my main and often only carry-on. I have nothing but good things to say about this backpack. I only wish I'd bought one sooner.

Barty boy: When I opened the shipping wrap, it looked kind of small. But after fluffing it open and stuffing it with a blanket to bring it into shape, I was surprised that it was a full sized back pack! It has way more storage compartments that I realized. The shoulder straps and the back of the pack was nicely padded. And I particularly like the cross brace across the chest that makes it feel very secure once wearing it. The zippers are stout and strong, and moves back and forth smoothly. It even comes with a TSA combination lock for the rear laptop compartment! Very nice product for at this price point!

GrumpyDaddy: I use this as a "transit backpack" moving my "office" i.e, laptop, essential peripherals, and incidentals between locations via plane. Good organization, easy to access, comfortable to wear for long periods, small enough to get into most commuter jet overheads. Zippers can be secured with luggage locks (one provided on the model I purchased) Large enough to handle unexpected additional load, and/or a stop at duty free. Small enough to not stick out and make one a bull in a china shop. More or less stylish for airports and airport lounges. Could be brought to meetings straight from the airport (use a slimline laptop sleeve/briefcase in the laptop compartment for show if needed).

1. it is a bit heavy - for all it is, they may be required, but at 3+lbs empty, it does have an impact on overall weight.
2. While large enough, it can get rather formless and floppy making it hard to access. I'm sure this is part tradeoff for weight and storability but none-the less, it does impact access at times, especially when searching for items and/or trying to zip and unzip compartments.
3. still waiting to see how the shoulder straps hold out over time. They are thinner than some but...

"Mithrandur": I've been looking for a decently large backpack for my work laptop as well as something I can use when travelling for both personal and business travel. The Kroser fits the bill! It has enough pockets for all my work and travel needs, plus it has enough space for me to add in those extra items, like a jacket or jumper for the airplane, my headphones, a book, etc. without having to cram it all in.

My only issue is that it is just a bit too big to put comfortably under the seat in front of me on the airplane. The back of the backpack is firm, which is great when you're walking, but it does not give to go under the seat.

All in all, that's the only issue I have, and it is not a big deal, so I'm happy.
