DR: This tape sticks easily and holds great. True to its advertising it is very easy to remove and move the area rugs to a new location!

J H Wilson: The tape was used for sticking a carpet to a laminate floor, very successful.

Godscountry 50 Northumberland: After several attempts at using other products to stop our rug moving the Double Sided tape has done the trick.
The rug is 18ft x 12ft and we have plenty left for other jobs that need doing, one good tip once you have taped all the edges when you come to the corners run a 3ft length at 45 degrees ( Basically 3ft in from the top and 3 ft down from the sides to give extra grip.)

Big Rob: It says its sticky and boy is it, I am well pleased with this and such a huge roll too. I reckon this will last my lifetime lol. I stuck direct to concrete to hold carpet and no problems.

Jacob Sunny: Easy to install, however adhesive strength is less, hence a little overkill is required. So what I do is use 4 strips on each corner of the rug.
It’s easy to remove from the wooden floor and tiles at the same time.

Kahlua's Mom: I have 10ft runners in my kitchen because I have a 10yr old doberman with leg issues, it is much easier for her to walk on rugs than on the floor. I bought new rugs so I needed new adhesive so the rugs w/n slide. The company I used previously was out of business. I read all the reviews on amazon and decided to go with the company.I knew it was going to be hard to cut from the reviews and I should not use a scissors. It was really hard to cut, I used a new box cutter, it cut thru the tape, but the sticky stuff curled up while I was cutting it, so I had to cut another piece. Finally I decided that I was going to use a scissors it was alot easier and the cut was clean thru. I did not put the tape on the floor first as suggested in the reviews. I put the tape on the rug, cut what I needed and then put the rug where I wanted it and pulled the paper away from the tape. I felt that if I put the tape on the floor and tried to position it on the floor I would not be able to move it. I don't think it is going to be easy to remove, but I will worry about that when the time comes. Right now the rugs are solid to the floor and they are not moving and that is all I am concerned about. My dog is...

kate fullerkate fuller: I used this tape to stick down stair treads. It really works! But it's so sticky that cutting it to fit the treads was problematic. I had 13 steps to do and after the second one, the scissors got so sticky that they wouldn't let go of the tape. My fingers were sticking to the tape, too. I felt like I was in an episode of I Love Lucy! Here's my advice based on that experience. To cut the right length, unroll the tape - sticky side UP - over the stair tread until it's the right length. Cut the first length with your sharpest scissors. Cut in one motion -- don't try to "chop." Peel off the protective paper that does NOT stick to the tape, and press the sticky side down on the tread where you want it to go. Here's the tip: Before you cut the next length of tape, snip off a section of the paper. I used a piece about 2-inches long. See first photo. Unroll the length of tape you need. Put a little piece of the non-stick paper on the free end so you can handle it. Put the 2-inch piece of paper on the tape at the uncut end, next to the roll. See middle photo above. When you cut through that patch of paper, your scissors won't get stuck. Use the bits of non-stick paper to handle the tape as...

Darth Dotson: I purchased this product - to use as intended - I was looking for a way to adhere my entryway carpets to my hardwood floors as my cat likes to tear through and uses them to steer... which caused pile-ups at the end of hallways. Cute, but annoying. It works - 100% as advertised and will do the job - as described. I would be willing to place my own reputation on that...
However - I do not feel the manufacturer is doing the product, and what it's capabilities are - justice.
This really truly is the best adherent product I have ever used - and there have been many - I like to tinker... It is easy to use - easy to stick - thick enough to be pushed into porous materials - and thin enough to be used between just about anything and not be seen. (The only thing this product could not replace as an adherent would be something where a non-sticky side is required - i.e. scotch tape. I would also be wary to use it on paper - as the glue-type material would likely cause the wet paper poster look that is caused by rubber cement type materials. BUT - if you stuck it - it would not come loose - unless you wanted it to - and yes - I think if done - you could even remove it from paper -...

SpaceMagiks: I recently purchased the Kraftex Double Sided Carpet Tape, and while it did the job I needed it to do, I was slightly disappointed with the product. The description stated a 90ft/30Yrd roll, but I only received about 75ft of tape in the package.
However, I must say that the tape's performance was satisfactory. It provided a strong and secure grip for my rugs, mats, and runners, effectively preventing them from slipping or moving around.
The adhesive held up well, and the tape was easy to apply. It did exactly what it was supposed to do, ensuring safety and stability on my carpets and rugs.
While the tape's length was not as advertised, it was sufficient for my immediate needs, so I decided to keep it. I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars, considering its functionality and effectiveness, but I do hope that the manufacturer addresses the issue with the incorrect length in the future.
