The Kootek Music Stand Light is the perfect choice for any musician. This clip-on piano light has 10 LED lights, each of which is adjustable to provide the perfect amount of illumination. The USB-rechargeable orchestra light book lamp is designed to last and is backed by Kootek's excellent customer support. It is one of the best Music Stand Lights available, with a great brightness and value for money, as well as a high-quality build.Romans 10:9-10: I like this particular brand of stand light so much, I have three: one for when I play euphonium and two for when I conduct (the conductor stand is very wide). They have two settings (dim and bright), so you have to make sure you click through the sequence to fully turn it off. The batteries seem to last a long time, and the adjustable neck is sturdy. I've been impressed by the quality of these lights.

Uncle Gary: I needed a better light source for my music stand than the ambient light in my living room. This small lamp does a great job of lighting my violin music. The lamp is very bright, and the rechargeable battery lasts a long time. The light clamps easily to the stand and is fairly light. It's not a problem for my heavy-duty music stand but if you have one of those flimsy folding stands, it might be too heavy.

Steve Barry: I bought 4 of these a few years ago. They’re amazing … the best LED lights I’ve ever bought. Then they became unavailable. I still use them everyday in a studio.
Back then they cost me £14.99 each …. now they cost 3 times as much!
Why the outrageous price rise. That price is TOO MUCH 🤔
Update: having read all Q&A’s and reviews the only difference in performance and specs is that the USB power cable is more than twice as long. Is that worth a 150% price rise.
any one who calls this price “good value” is just wrong.
Also I have used the 4 of these that I purchased quite a few years back while still attached to power most days. Usually they will be fully charged to start with, but I’ve also used them on power whilst charging, and it has not affected their performance detrimentally nor their lifespan (yet).
So as I originally said they are extremely good lights, but I do now consider them overpriced, and taking into account inflation they should be around £25- … I’d probably pay £30- … but not £45- 😳

SuperBee: I am an educated consumer and do my homework before purchasing. I read the reviews and shop around. I bought this lamp in September 2019 but decided to wait at least half a year before reaching any conclusions. It is now nine months later and I am happy to report that I have no criticisms, whatsoever.
I considered the bigger and more expensive models, but focused on the following (in no particular order):
• Reasonable price;
• Cordless (comes with detachable cord and charger);
• Rechargeable (uses lithium rechargeable battery that recharges via USB-adapter like what you use for the iPhone cord);
• Long lasting;
• Bright light that doesn’t add color;
• Portable and lightweight;
• Adjustable;
• Padded so that it wouldn’t harm the music stand on my piano;
• Easy to use.
I read the negative reviews, too, which in this case seem to relate to individual issues having nothing to do with the overall product.
I often play my piano in the evenings with very little ambient light, for a particular kind of mood; without a music stand light, it would be virtually impossible for me to be able to read the music in front of me with my...

TheresaPACAVA: I've had this light for almost six months now, and I absolutely love it! It gives off a great and even amount of light (on the cooler side of the spectrum, but not horribly so), wide enough to use for music books without being a distraction to audiences in performances. (It also has a hood along the lower edge of the light to help shield the light from audiences, and that also works well.) It has a decently strong clip as well, so I've never had any issues with the grip slipping on my stand.
The battery life is wonderful even when I have the light on the high setting (which I often do, because my eyesight is terrible). I have now used this light to play three multi-weekend musical productions, and it easily gets me through entire tech-week rehearsals and shows (about 3-5 hours each) without me having to plug it in. This is a good thing, because the cord for this charger is NOT long enough to have it plugged in while using it on your stand. So I just make sure I take it home and charge it between rehearsals/shows, and I'm good to go. Bright side: in a pit orchestra, it's one less cable to potentially trip over!
The charger has a strange little happy-face light on the...

John Rollins: The light itself is great, but I've had it for nine months and something inside the clamp has snapped under normal use, meaning the clamp is now in two pieces and I can't put it back together. I can't clamp it to my music stand now, so its useless.
I am investigating if I can return it.
.. UPDATE...
I emailed the supplier using the Amazon forms, and within a few hours received an apology and a request for confirmation of the delivery address for a replacement from the suppliers, Kootek. I paid no money and didn't have to send the broken one back.I received the replacement within two days and so have a revised my rating upwards. The lamp is still a great lamp. The newer version of the lamp has a slightly different clamp shape, so hopefully this will last much longer. 4 stars for the lamp, 5 Stars for customer service!

dee: Updated Review: Whilst I experienced problems with the first light clip on , the customer service has been brilliant and I was able to get a replacement at no cost . I delayed my updated review to see if there was any difference and there was. The new clip on light works as its meant to be. I have updated my review to more stars to reflect the effort to rectify the initial product. As many sellers on amazon like to insist the fault is from the customer.
First Review: This product is not as durable and sturdy as other reviewers suggest . The clip part has already become loose and the battery dies quickly

Amazon Customer: UPDATE: It did not last long. The arm popped out of its housing very soon. This was glued back on this epoxy and I thought I had a good solution before the whole spring mechanism just exploded making it next to useless for me. Great concept but let down by the engineering. Downgraded to 2 stars.
On the whole this is a good product and there is lots to like for the price. The clip is sturdy and wide opening which grips things well and is wide enough that it can be self standing. The battery lasts a good time and I like the portability. I also like the fact that the light strength has two settings. On the downside the flexible arm popped out of it's housing almost from the word go and the power lead is pitifully small rendering it useless for anything except charging. The end is also a round pin meaning there is a good chance you won't have a longer one at home. The light is ok and not bright enough for, say, detailed hobbyist work IMO (for example I found it pointless to use at work but it is just about bright enough to read in bed). Overall good, but not great, yet well priced.

Keith ParkKeith Park: I bought this light because I wanted something to light-up my photographs on a display board at events but wasn't sure it would be bright enough or last long enough, I am pleased to say it exceeded my expectation, the light lite up the full display board and produced a good light which bought out the colours in photograph for about 10 hours. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who wants a portable display light. the attached photo is the test I did with just one photograph with no other light source

Thoughtful person: This light clips on a metal stand well - good grip. Light has 2 brightness settings which is nice. I do not know how long it lasts yet. The downside is that one cannot use it with the cord (the instructions say so) - this has not been tested. Works as expected.
