schoolmarm: The dog barrier worked better than I imagined. It fit perfectly in my Honda van, between the front seats, to keep a large, very active dog in the back. It's strong enough , long enough, and wide enough to create a safer environment in the car.

Bryan: I've tried several other barriers to keep pets out of front seat. This one worked very good, built strong. Fits my Nissan Roque nicely.
Rated a 4 star. price is a little high for a piece of wire and a couple of straps.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: This fits perfectly in our Dodge Journey and because it’s adjustable is more than sufficient to keep our 70 lb Aussie St. Berdoodle from encroaching on our Center armrest/ console and eventually ending up on my lap in the front seat.
Took 5 minutes to adjust and install and was exactly what the description and reviews said it would be.
Very happy! Would recommend. Measure the space between your Fri t seats to make sure it will work for you. A smaller pup could squeeze through th side possibly.

geminus_88: The gate doesnt secure well. The dog bumped it with the nose while I was driving and the cage hit me in the head while it just flipped upside down. It needs 4 attachment points, comes with 2 bungee cords and 2 cords that are too short to wrap around the headrest.
That 2 shorter cords need to be longer.

christine knock: This unit is easy to assemble and it fits my Mazda CX5 perfectly. Good buy. My puppy is happy with it as well cause he can still see us.

Elliz: In preparing the back seat for our new puppy, we knew that the little guy was gonna be determined to get to us and be trying to come over the console. He’s tethered for safety and has a seat “hammock” for comfort. I just needed to block off the middle area and this was perfect in size. (Toyota Tacoma).
It installed in 5 minutes and fit the area snugly. It lets you adjust the height you want it. Pup now weighs 17 lbs and sometimes stands on it briefly so it’s sturdy enough that it supports that and doesn’t shift its location. However, the better news is that the wire “grid” design isn’t comfortable for the dog’s feet, so he doesn’t try it often. He has learned that is his boundary, but I can still reach him to pet and give treats. Highly recommend.

BTay: I have a 3yr old Aussie-Collie who thinks he should be in the front seat of my car and would always make his way up there no matter how hard I tried. I tried this barrier after failing with one of those nylon mesh type barriers as he quickly learned he can push it down and come over.
Setup was easy in my 2015 Passat however the plastic clips on the straps were a little weak and have already broken in the heat of summer. No worries as I was able to use some of my own and they hold just fine! As other reviewers stated, the edges of the wire bars are sharp in areas and I would recommend using Gaffers tape or something durable to cover them as to prevent an injured pup or punctured seat. All in all it is holding quite well and keeping my pupper safely in the back seat where he belongs!

rick maurmann: This is a super easy way to just let your dog know to stay out of the front of the car so you’re not distracted. It took a few minutes to put it together and a little frustrating to hook it up with the ones it’s in it is in and as long as your dog is not a jumper or aggressive on getting in the front seat, everything will be good.
