A Emilio: Product is not compatible with the pools suggested or it is missing a part. Went to use it in my Bestway Pool and noticed that it will not work. Amazon not responding to my emails regarding the return and now it’s too late.

Placeholder: The flexible hose connecting the filter vacuum to the cleaning head is woefully weak, poorly designed and cheap. It collapsed are 2 minutes usage and thereby rendered the entire system inoperable. For $40 the very least that could be provided is a hose with sufficient strength not to collapse. The reason for the collapse of the hose is this: in the package there are three section that are joined together by couplers (plastic) and each section is ribbed except for a smooth middle section of about 4". It is at this smooth section where the tube collapsed. None of the ribbed section collapsed. I think the middle smooth section (non-ribbed) might have been placed there so sections cut be cut into small units; but, this is an unwise choice on the manufacturer's choice as it rendered the entire unit worthless.

Jessica Wigley: This is the second Skooba pool vacuum I have purchased, and both have worked great! I've had the first one for six or seven years and it still works great, also, just the ring around the mesh debris "bag" has started to become brittle and split. I purchased the Max version because of the larger vacuum attachment with the brushes and wheels. Used it for the first time this weekend, and it worked like a dream! The only criticism I have is the hose that comes with this one is in three sections, and the connection pieces are difficult to insert into the hose. I just used a pool hose I already had (not from either Skooba vac), and it worked fine. I will definitely continue to purchase Skooba brand pool vacuums in the future. Great quality for a great price!

Anonymous: If you have an above ground pool - this is a must have! I know there were some reviews that say it doesn't work - but the only way it doesn't work is if you either - don't hook it up properly or you don't have enough pump power. If you are new to having/maintaining a pool - it can be a little confusing, but if you make sure you are connected to the suction line it works great!
My pool came with a cheap vac that runs on a garden hose - it does ok getting larger debris, but it is really too small for the pool - but for fine dirt/sand it does nothing - I had been looking for months trying to find a vac that would get the dirt/sand - and was reasonably priced - this is it!!
Only con I found is that the pole is a little flimsy and could be longer - or ideally - wish it would attach to a standard pool skimmer/brush pole.

Erin B: I love this thing. Use it once a week to clean the bugs and whatever else off the bottom of my 18' easy set pool. I read some reviews that said they couldn't get a good suction going so I was a little skeptical, and I did find that the tubing has to be completely filled with water before you turn the pump on or it won't work, but this should be common sense since the pool pump won't work with air in it anyway. Does a really good job getting everything off the bottom of the pool including sand. Yes the pool pump has to be cleaned out after vacuuming but it has to be done anyway so I don't have a problem with that. Other people have complained about the quality but I like that it's light plastic and aluminum. Easy to put together and take apart for cleaning and storage. Only issue is the vacuum head could be weighted a little more. Have to use a little downward pressure with the forward passes but not a big deal. For the price, especially for a cheap easy set pool, this really is the best thing I've bought for it so far.

joe: For what was paid for it,it was was worth it, I have a large sand filter pumps that moves a lot of water,if you have a smaller pump,might be an issue! The problem is quality! Flimsy as heck! The head doesn't line up inline with hose,so its off to the side,then the suction head falls off every time,,the handle sections fall apart,since they just jam into one another....it works very well and even picks up sand on the bottom when it stays togeather,like other reviews, be careful with it and it could last you one season.....good luck.
